I'm not sure if when Sisko is giving Nog the serious military dress-down if he's testing him ("You're a Ferengi. Why would you want to join Starfleet? Where's the profit in it?!"), or has that genuine sense of worry. ("Why are you doing this?!")
Aron Eisenberg cited this scene as his favourite of all the ones he ever did- and it's easy to see why. Nog is awesome here and one of the best things about it is that he's right at the end- he never gives Sisko a reason to regret recommending him and makes him proud, becoming an outstanding Starfleet officer. One of the best scenes in a series that was full of them.
@ArcaneAzmadi I also love this because when Nog is part of Starfleet, he never lets it go to his head, or make him overconfident. At first he's kind of all business, but that's only because he just started. I also notice that Nog learned and matured at an alarming rate once things got set in motion.
