The fictional character, Jesus, stated that after being asked by the pharisees whether or not it was right to pay taxes. When he said that the bible says he held up a coin saying give to Caesar what is Caesars. Ironically the quote is also often used to mean that god says we should obey our government.

The fictional character, Jesus, stated that after being asked by the pharisees whether or not it was right to pay taxes. When he said that the bible says he held up a coin saying give to Caesar what is Caesars. Ironically the quote is also often used to mean that god says we should obey our government.

Regarding labels for oneself, both atheist and agnostic are negatives, as in, one is primarily NOT something. The label freethinker makes me more comfortable. Its a 19th century term but seems genuinely American apple pie-ish.

Thats because most people who have no life and waste all their time on the comp responding to messages left a year ago are atheist, and whenever they just so happen to run across a christian vod they just have to give their opinion out so that they can feel special about themselves.
