ive got 2 fifteens in the back of my scion and they sound good inside but out side that shit sounds horrible the hole car shakes and the bass isnt loud enough for you over hear the shaking.

@jitjoseph damn that must sound crazy lol.. but yea dood my box rattled like crazy when i had 4 12s. so first thing i did was take off the rear wiper. then i got it dynamated and it sounded alot better. but it still had some rattle so i got "GREAT STUFF™ Big Gap Filler insulating foam sealant" man that shit workd hella good. no extra noise just clean bass. well except from the license plate.. also tape down the wiring on the back hatch so that it dont vibrate..

do you mean put the great stuff in the hatch or every were like the doors. and if i do get it say i wanted to say the scion and put the wiper back on if the great stuff is there will i still be able to put the moter back in?

@jitjoseph i only used it on the hatch the doors had dynamat... i guess you could put the wiper and motor back in if you are careful where you add the great stuff lol.. but if you have a system its still going to flap all over like crazy.. i never used the rear wiper so i foamed the whole hatch and plugged the wiper arm hole. theres some dood who sells little color matched plugs for the wiper hole. ill see if i can get some pictures of my hatch =D

sounds good... ive been looking around for plugs and found a couple at lowes but dont know if the hole is the same size or not or its to long or short but we'll see thx =]

I agree about facing the subs backwards,I was just noticing the port is so close to the hatch.I had a blazer with 4 10's that faced up and it sounded just as good as rear-facing.I think the rule is the port should have a distance at least equal to the smallest outer dimension of the opening,that is to say if the port is 4" wide,it should have at least 4" between it and the hatch.

it would prolly sound better aimed up,the port is too close to the hatch,youre stifling your sub.

@babydaddy1234 from personal experience ive always thought subs sound better with the sub facing the back of the car makes the low bass hit forward to the front of the car instead to rear behind the car. you ever hear a car that passes and then u hear the bass? its becuz the subs are facing twards the front. but i do have my sub facing up atm. sounds ok.

How do you manage installing a Dual Subwoofer from walmart, into the back of an Xb 2004 model? There are these back panels, where you can remove them, is this a way to install, or do i need an amplifier?

umm where? i did it in my driveway.. and how is i took apart the top of the dash.. took the speed ometer cover off.. bought some leds wired them down to a toggle switch on the dashboard really easy to do man. ive also added 4 tweeters in the roof witch are also led looks pretty sick ill have to take a vid of my lights sometime.
