you don't see this kind of music in games often...i'd love to see this kind of music more.

Why do people hate suikoden 4 so much? I love it sooooo

Yeah suikoden 1 and 2 were better, but 4 blew 3 out of the water. 3 was terrible for me. And 5 had a good story but gameplay was lacing for me.

I love 4's music, the environment, and especially the graphics. Very very underrated game.

i miss this game. it was the first suikoden that I had ever bought. Had no idea bout this game at first, sucked at it at first then I started to enjoy it and I had loads of fun with the games and the cool base. :D even after Suiko V and tierkreis, this was certainly my favourite

Suikoden 4 was my first suikoden game this game is truly epic the characters the storyline and i hated snowe so much for being a jerk i only choose tal and paula and especialy chiepoo

I played 3 before 4, and it isn't that I disliked 4, I loved it, but it lacks the shear power and emotion that the others have. Nevertheless, this game was beautifully done, and I can't wait for the 6th installment.

@WordsIII The Sea Voyaging was probably my favorite part of the game, I mean don't get me wrong I loved the game entirely but for some reason I could spend ours just roaming around the sea.

This song is truly amazing to me, I love this Song and i love this game, it took me another go through to do it right but it was rewarding, the characters, the story, and the overall feel of this game is great, i do hope games like this continue to be released as we seem to be in short supply of quality games now days.

This was the first suikoden game i played as well. The rune of punishment made me fell badass. The story was very entertaining and the characters were interesting as well. It just makes me sad that a lot of the hate on this game is on its "bad" controls and gameplay mechanics. I'll agree that ship battles are hard, and that there was no need to reduce the party size to four, but i've also heard BS complaints like the ships moving slow when you could just press R1 and move faster. >_>

Omg every time i inserted the Suikoden IV disc, i always loved listening to this song!, the scenes were so beautiful and amazing, i get mesmerized that i forgot that this was actually a game for a moment. ^_______^ THANKS <3

I also played this as my first suikoden and I still love this game alot, especially the music. Over time I gathered the other games but I still have relate to the hero of IV the most. As for all the people who whine about random encounters try a nes game or two much higher encounter rates you actually have a reason to complain then. Also I hope Lazlo appears in a later Suikoden would be interesting to see a True Rune User who has lived over 400 years other than Ted.

This was one of my favorite games in spite of the World Map. Both 3 and 4 had amazing intros. I love how Ted was a playable character in this one.

Suikoden IV wasn't that bad. It can't possibly hold a candle to the legendary status of I or II, but it's a solid game. The soundtrack to this game, however, is amazing. This, the rune of punishment theme, the ship battle themes--I keep coming back to them. To me, the main draw of the series has been the music. II and IV are shining examples of video game music at its best.

LOL I'm a veteran when it comes to suikoden. I remember buying the first sequence

on PS and it was great,but suikoden two was better overall and the best in all of the sequences.So, in my opinion it comes like this; Suikoden 2,1and then 5. "sorry but the others weren't that much although la mer is the best opining in all suikoden sequences" Thanks for hearing me ^_^.
