Funny how it is usually forigners (mostly Scandinavians) that write the best lyrics when english isn't usually their first language. I guess Scandinavians are just that awesone.

@SuperPhycoMan1 True! I guess that they really cared about studying the actual language, and trying to comprehend it to the very same core. Enough to manipulate it and maybe give the most accurate use for words, and proper semantic combinations. People that have english as their first language only care for speaking it, at least that's how I see it. I'm a foreigner as well ;P

Well if you think about it, English isn't completely English per se, it comes mostly from Saxon. Saxons came from Scandinavia. So English is just a big corruption of ancient Scandinavian languages when it comes down to it!

They're AMAZING live. I've seen them five or six times now, and I've never been disappointed in their performance. A band that sounds BETTER than a recording live, is a band that is simply genious and pure talent. Sonata forever <3 Maailman paras bändi!

1:15 it looks like skwisgaar is playing the drums on tony's head, which makes me laugh, because at the show i went to in vancouver, while the band was doing a solo, tony leaned over one of the security guards and pretended to knock on his head at the exact moment that tommy played the crash :)

by the way, i know the drummer's name is tommy portimo, not skwisgaar, but you have to admit he looks similar

Check the website it has better info than i can give you. Basically in Finland every male has to either join the army or do civil duties.

Jani skipped them when it came his time but i don't blame him. The civil duties are much longer than the military and is often viewed as a punishment for not choosing military. Say you are a pacifist or something, then you are punished for beliefs.

Sonata Arctica is a good band, they don't need two quitarists. They can be great with only Elias/Jani.
