'It's like team sport's' No it bloody is not. Team sports is judged on ability, and if you loose, you can work to improve what you do. They are judging children on they beauty. Children shouldn't HAVE beauty at that age, they should have cuteness, mud on their face and a scrape on the knee. And the girl they interview was a winner wasn't she?? She'll have gained self confidence, but what about all the girls who lost? One child suffering body image issues due to this is a tragedy

@TheChipettes10 i can't help watching them...neither can my friends who agree with me! i will tell you one thing now being a dance mother. spending 5 grand a year is tough....a year...not a few grand a pageant! but i see the similarities and i may pull out. you can't tell me these kids dont feel pressure and know they are judged. i watch it more to watch the psychologogy of SOME of the mums. they are not ALL bad i will agree. some mean well and i like to see the all natural stuff

I have got a Australian news coverage back in 2006 when the huge fiasco about Mr. John Mark Karr claiming that he murdered the child.... but evidence show now he wasn't the murderer. Some day I hope they will catch or solve this beautiful little girl's murder.
