This is a canned response to getting hit with a water attack (an irritated refusal). But this is a CEMENT ATTACK. So either water is GOOD for cleaning off cement (in which case having had a shower in the recent past is ironic) or it would be WORSE for helping quick-dry cement powder to set (in which case the shower was a bad idea in retrospect).
So...it should be either "I JUST had a shower!" or "And I just had a shower..."
Funny how I like the SNES version better even with the lack of 4-player support. Btw, Slash was a ridiculously difficult boss to overcome, even after 15 years.
2 boss replacements doesn't really make or break a game. It's just some of you prefer those bosses. This game actually has 4 player support which I prefer over SNES 2 player version.
@acidglow Yeah, Slash sucked ass anyway. He kept on blocking your attacks. He was no fun to fight. And Bebop and Rocksteady were already on the first arcade game.
As an adult who once loved games like this, I look back and say:
I hate arcade beat-em-ups in which no matter how many times you hit a boss, you're gonna get hit by a cheap shot, and you get worn down so much you gotta put more quarters in. And that's why those games just eat up your mother-fucking hard-earned quarters.
And I was Leo XD the names in the description are in the order of the players. Back then I didn't label them on the vids. I still need to do a 4 player playthrough of this online sometime. not easy though..
adoré este juego en particular, se convirtió en un vicio para mí jugarlo todos los días, no me gustaba la técnica de ataque de Rafael pero al final era la tortuga que mas usaba
this ones good and all but the 1989 orginal arcade version will always hold a special place in my heart it will 4 ever be a trubuit to my beloved childhood that i miss greatly
Nice to see this video. I have to say the SNES version Konami put together is a big improvement. The sound in Turtles in Time is way better. I love the old school stuff though. Great Video!
Is it me, acidglow, or does it sound like when you hit someone in the arcade versus of TMNT: Turtles in Time that it is like someone trying to bend a piece of cardboard back and forth? Personally, I like the way that it sounds when you hit a boss in the SNES version of the game or in the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive game of TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist better, do you not agree, sir?
these arcade games are annoying but fun. i just hate it when the boss doesn't get affected much. (example: 1-4 turtles are hitting the boss, but eventually the boss can swipe at you instead of staying vunerable for at least 5 seconds). Good Vid.
If you watch the episode with Cement Man, Shredder says "SO MUCH FOR YOUR BLOB MONSTER" twice in a row. Not only is this one of the worst lines ever, but he says it twice and it is the exact same sound byte- it's actually quite hysterical if you notice it!
"Man, I just had a shower?" Think about it.

btw, did you noticed how aggressive is Leatherhead in the Arcade version? (compared to the SNES version)

He's a lot more annoying in ReShelled. He keeps ducking down, and he damages you if he touches you like that.

I thought the prehistoric turtlesauras was from the arcade and not only fron the snes version, I wonder why they didn't put him on the snes version

perhaps they simply wanted characters that appeared in the 80s-90s show.

Glad you liked it. Arcade version has diff bosses and it has audio dialogue which was removed on SNES from some bosses.

This guy looks easier then Slash, that guy is HARD.
Combat 4 years ago
Agreed. But Slash isn't as tough when you find out he has a pretty easy attack pattern.
acidglow 4 years ago
I don't think slash is that hard, you just have to time it right and shoulder-bash him.
