I clean windows here in Rockhampton. There's this other guy who keeps undercutting my jobs. Ive lost a few jobs now because he charges less. Im already cheap but I think he is pissed of that I came into his scene. Annoying.
your a glass cleaner.. you still got a lot to learn mate..allways use two hands when doing inside when posibble..and before you do the glass wipe the frame top and sides and the glass/Frame Joint with a wrung out microfibre cloth that way your not only cleaning the frames but also leaving less water on the glass for detailing after.when doing those mirrors do the top part first then the bottoms.. this way you wont bend so much Ie. save energy and your body.
How long did it take for your business to grow to the point of being able to support your week to week living expenses? How would you quote each of those small windows? How much did you charge?
you can mix dish-washing liquid with windex cleaner..that really gets in the dirt.i really love my "50 squegee - gets the job done quicker on wider glass.
It depends on the strength of the detergent, but when there's not enought, it's going to get sticky and hard to turn the squeegee.
Yes, the wagtail is from Australia (so am I). It's great! It distributes the wear and tear up your arm, not so much on your wrist. It's also fantastic on the pole. Takes a bit of getting used to, but there's no going back!
i like this guy but the only thing i didn't like was the fact he didn't move the tables out of the way.. i know from experience when water drips on the floor and nearby electrical appliances. I'm a window washer and i love it.
Nice technique but you use too much soap my opinion.... what kind is that brown rubber you use ? ettore, unger , sorbo ?
