red squirrels are becoming endangerd because of the disease which TheShape423 mentioned, and road traffic, dunno if you've ever been forbey, but there are ropes abouve the road so red squirrels can cross without being run over, there so cute ^^ oh, and great vid ^^

I had this great bit with the squirrel a matter of inches away from me but when I went to put it on the laptop...I accidently cut it instead of copied it and lost it all....

Yeah I've heard of the rope 'bridges'. It's a really good idea that I think should be introduced in many other places!

I heard that red squirrels are actually being killed off by a disease that attacks both reds and grays but usually only effects the red ones.
