ive seen them play w carcass and suffocation they sounded like a mess nothing like their albums...and at the summer slaughter tour and they sounded the same both venues had a superb PA system and they sounded loose and unorganized both times while the other bands sounded tight and together at both shows.

First let me say i have neverrrr seen these guys live, but from what i gather from this is the drummer is terrible live, and the guitar tone is terrible(very fizzy, probly from 2 factors EMG's and Line6 Flextone 2 heads) but other than that the preformance sounded great.

I like Line 6. I never use their presets to sound like other bands. I just make my own sound with it, and with a 75 watt it sounds great. At high volumes, palm mutes get a little sketchy, but otherwise sounds cool.

fucks sake, a lot of people who flame people for using triggers have no idea, you try playing at that speed for a full album/gig, the drummers are insanely good but even they are bound to miss hit a beat on the kick drum or lose the tiniest bit of power on the snare hits, which in this kind of music would cause it to lose alot of power and sound weak. They use triggers for the sound of the music, it isnt because theyre "cheating" or whatever people want to accuse them off, its ridiculous.

I'm not really into like metalcore/grindcore stuff. I bet everyone in this band is pretty like technically good at their instruments. Like the blast beat that starts at the first scream in Comforting Prejudice, I can't even comprehend how to do that. Everything's shred though. Most people/I think it's a bit much after a while, but that's the style. And as far as breakdowns goes,i thought those were just slower tempo parts too. I didn't really know someone started them in music history.

I don't get what you're saying, this is pretty much deathcore, death/grind is something else entirely. These guys are good but, the hardcore breakdowns kill it for me. But then again Cryptopsy played this style back in 95'-96' with their album "None So Vile", I don't know if you have it but Cryptopsy wrote the blueprint for BTM as in song structure death metal/grind/breakdowns, None So Vile pretty has the formula these guys play, but it was back in 95'ish era, it was death metal nothing else.
