  • Excellent but i can still feel her foreign accent

  • haha she's like lee michelle from kpopstar~

  • now 'that' was outstanding!

  • @nessaalm wait why

  • 와우 완전 한국사람다됐네 ㅎㅎ^^

  • i think "shelleyinthecity" is just taking a guest.

    she sounds really cute/sexy tho.

i notice she also was taking in russia ?

  • @shelleyinthecity, how do you know she is half korean ? do you know her ?

i notice she is speaking russian as well, either way so cute when talking in korean :)

  • thats why she is wearing glasses!

  • If she is half korean than the other half must be russian!

    "Ну что Саша щи?"=)))

  • i love the title :) Instead of just "white girl" saying non-korean or foreign :) more nice title ;)

  • In the viewpoint of anthropology, blood (interracial) mixture

will finally result in a horrible tragedy in human history.

If you foreigners love Korean people and cultures,

then please don't marry Koreans (or at least don't have a baby of mixed blood).

  • do you suck Korean cock too?

  • no offence meant, but Korean sounds like redneck Japanese

  • @ReplayButtonMolester WOOOW, maaan duude yooo XD Korean and Japanese are two TOOOTAL different languages. Believe me. I have tons of experience with both languages, so i think i would know. Neither, Chinese, Japanese or Korean sound alike. Just because they all are east asian countries doesn't mean they sound alike, cause they don't :p

  • @TheCandygore But i thought they recently grouped Korean and Japanese together as part of the Altaic language family. If that was true that would have made them related to Mongolian and Turkish. But trust me Japanese and Korean sound a lot alike, Korean being a bit more relaxed.

  • @ReplayButtonMolester I'm half Korean. Koreans have more "ch" and the letter R and their language is more heavy. Japanese is acutally lighter. It has more of the letter S, K and the "Sh" sound... Here i translated "what is your name" to both lanugages. Korean: dangsinui ileumeun mueosibnikka? Japanese: No namae wa nanidesu ka?

I think they are two very different languages!

  • @ReplayButtonMolester . Are you fluent in both?

  • @orllamas1 nah man. i seriously considered taking japanese classes but dropped the idea at the last minute of college applications. i know some words however.

  • 와 ! She is good. I am studying Korean for half a month now and this really gives me the strainght to keep up my Hard work. Sometimes I am really frustrated Because there are so many vocabs and the Speed of learning and teaching at University is so fast. Now I just understand a few words she says but Not the context. In a few months I will watch this vid again and See if there is any Progress haha

  • She is Russian l because in the end she speak Russian without accent.

    Ну, что, Саша ...

  • It's annoying how she keeps saying 'Yes' most the time. "Yes...yes...yes....yes...yes...yes...yes??? Yes..."

  • @jayzgirl1 It's just a habit when Korean people talk with someone on the phone!(meaning that I'm listening to you)

  • @jayzgirl1 . It's a Korean thing. Not only is literally "yes". It can also mean, I'm listening, right, ok, I agree, anything that shows agreement. It's also a way to say "im here, when the other person is doing all the talking. ;-)

  • Im having a crush on a korean guy in my school, so Im trying to learn it.

  • Seriously, her voice is like a typical Korean woman!! And if I did not look at her face, I would think that she must be a Korean!!! Wow!! Excellent!!

  • wow, ok someone tell me about this girl who personally knows her. was she born in korea? did she study in russia and came to korea? what is going on because i'm really intrigued at this point.

  • I kept waiting for her to stick her tongue out at the camera, and she did at the end. LOL

  • She lived in korea quite long time..

  • ...idly but this video seems creepy idk lol why is she being recorded? And then a knee? Lol but yeah she's good.

  • the mostly thing she says is Ye and Ne XD

  • On the course selection list for my high school, the academy classes offer Korean and I'm Korean (which is why I want to take it), but it's conflicting because then my school schedule will have 6 periods instead of 7 having less room for electives. I'm currently in band and my parents want me to take art at least one year when I don't want to quit band at all during my high school years. To take academy classes, I have to be at least a junior in high school and that's the time I'm done with PE

  • Dayum! That's awesome. I'm so jealous. My Korean sucks ㅠ-ㅠ

    아이구 참~

  • She is half Korean and grew up with her Korean mother speaking Korean to her.....so people.....it is not exactly a surprise that she is speaking excellent Korean!!!!!

  • @shelleyinthecity how do you know? is she also half russian because she said someone in russian right after she got off the phone

  • @shelleyinthecity

She isnt half Korean. She is full blooded Russian. Her parents emigrated to Korea when she was young.

  • @shelleyinthecity and how did you find such information?

  • @shelleyinthecity Are you positive about that?? I heard she is Russian who lived in Korea for a very long time.

  • @shelleyinthecity

She isnt "half Korean". Her ethnicity if full Russian and has lived in Korea for a long time ever since she was little.

  • @ConceptVBS Her mother is Korean and her father is Russian. Why is that so difficult for people to comprehend? Why is it so difficult for people to understand that yes she can speak both Russian and Korean having both as parents.

  • @shelleyinthecity lol you are mistaken. she is full russian. she is part of a troupe that lives and works in Korea. She lives there thats is the reason she speaks it perfectly. There are also americans and canadians in their troupe. get your facts straight.lol

  • @shelleyinthecity she still speaks better than i do...

  • @shelleyinthecity Her mother is not Korean, she is 100% Russian. She lives in South Korea, thus she speaks fluent Korean.

  • @kimotaco This is more likely. I met many, many, many Russians working in Korea who spoke Korean. I also met 2nd/3rd gen. Koreans who's parents had crossed into Russia during the war and spoke perfect Russian and were trying to learn Korean.

  • So much "DEHS"

  • teencha? 정말? gamsahabnida! im not korean but love korean!

  • i love korean, it's beautiful language!

  • 0:51... She's good!

  • holy poooooooooop, my parents will think i'm a disgrace if they see this

  • @bagleyy hehe your comment is funny! ;)

  • What i'm wondering is, why is this being recorded?

  • @tmx225 because she's talking about casting and audition ... obviously this was meant to be on Youtube for exposure. Read between lines folks..

  • ugh i wanna know korean so bad

  • Omg her little accent is adorable. <3 This is my inspiration whenever I start falling behind in my studying~ I WILL be this fluent someday!

  • @CharlestheStrange No you won't. Do yourself a favor and quit. Don't try, never fail.

  • @kroen Oh, like what you say matters. ;]

  • @CharlestheStrange Yeah! :D don't give up! :) you WILL be fluent in Korean someday!! xD

  • Habla Por Telefono en Coreano

  • she goes blah blah blah and then says yes in korean for 100 times and then goes blah blah blah again saying yes for another 100 times, and finally says goodbye : )

By all means, she is awesome at speaking korean. I reckon she is triple times better than i am.

  • Isn't she korean?

  • 한국말 잘하는거 보다 이쁘게 생겨서 좋다^^

  • I'm Korean and she speaks 100times better than me!:(

  • fuck im korean and she speaks better then me

  • @MrUncleStalin Mii 2

  • Ani Jiiirong! :p Haha. That guy was totally flirting with her though.

I'm not Korean but her Korean accent was spot on. I wish I could speak like her!!!

  • Sounds like me on the phone:

    "네... 네? 네. 네 네. 네?"

    Hahah

  • it doesnt look right when non asians try to speak korean

im not saying that they shouldnt learn or speak but i just dnt prefer this

  • @bintuae1 Who cares what you perfer or dont perfer. -_- SHUDDUP

  • @EbonyQueen999 u better shudup

actually Korea wont welcome white trashes ever!

  • @bintuae1 -- Why would a white trash ever want to visit Korea anyway? And how would they afford to travel? And how would they know how to get a passport?

  • @bintuae1 You must have never been Korea, have you? Korea actually is very welcoming to white people more than any other race, even people from other Southeast Asian countries.. you can ask any Korean person.. its sad but true.

  • @quailchow tourism economy all that counts

  • @bintuae1 u mena non koreans, and u should be great full other want to learn ur culture...she prob Russian and grew up in Korea, and I know she and a bunch of other Russians are part of this tv show, that were this is from, pretty old though!

  • She's pretty good :D As a Korean, I give you the rating 8.9/10

  • i wouldnt say excellent korean, you can distinctly hear her accent isnt korean. its a fact that unless born in korea and growing up there, you cant get the direct accent and also northern parts and southern parts of south korea have different accents and dialects. that and the fact that she is speaking basic korean words/sentences, id give her a 4 or 5/10.

  • @JtotheS09 lol ever heard luvada?

  • Fone sex? LOL

  • de..de...de...de...de...de.....

  • Wow that's great!! Is she French? Maybe the French accent is better suited to Korean... most Americans (most) I've heard trying to speak Korean don't sound that good. But she's fantastic! I'm so envious right now.

  • lols I understand most of this But thats only cause i watch to much KDRAMA lols xD Learning by watching my favorite dramas :D

  • How did she learn korean so well ?! :) wow

  • You guys r much better than KOREANS buds~~~~~~~

  • 대체 이 사람 누구야.. 한국말 왜케 잘해 ㅡㅡ;;;;

  • @NIGHT2PWN that' how i learned so many languages in my 20s

  • nae, nae, nae, nae

  • I am just amazed.. Where and how did you learn Korean like that?

  • Did you take classes to learn korean or wat??? i am curious and JEALOUS at the same time.. LOL :)

  • i wNT TO how to speak korean.. :))

  • who's the girl?

  • I'm a Non-German, Korean-American. I want to speak awesome German to a Korean speaking person who is not Korean. World Languages is my favorite class. She's better than me.

  • I'd like to know how long this girl's been living in Korea. Just because you don't look like a native doesn't mean you aren't one.

  • @ferschwanstain Even if she is terrible at speaking (I cannot judge as the video refuses to load for me), she is merely that and nothing more save for some basic conclusions about her vocal imitation skills and her progress of Korean linguistic progress can be determined from this video. You, however, have revealed your flawed perception of other human beings in less time than this video took.

  • @Saavykaas

Think carefully about what you did. Think of the time this girl put into learning a language, going abroad, learning eagerly from people she respected enough to ask to learn from them. Think of the money she funneled into doing it, the time she spent studying to get to the point she did (even if flawed). Think of the biases she had to confront (from others and herself), the obstacles she had to pass, the journey she had to take and the passion she must have in order to do any of it.

  • @Saavykaas

Now think about what you did. You have in two sentences dismissed all of the previous, asserting that you know her true character and goals without knowing her, without even having talked to her, without even the slightest attempt to test your own assumptions against reality in any way. You have contributed nothing except a demonstration of how you regard other human beings; as shallow archetypes, flat cutouts. You show you immature and willfully ignorant, and for that I pity you.

  • @ferschwanstain youre not even korean....

  • search talk to me in Korean on Google. That is the best website ever. youll be speaking like this girl in no time.

  • Whoa, this girl is good. I am a foreigner who lived for 2 years in Korea myself and she kicks my trash.

  • @sharinganWS :O are you saying that you are born & raised in South Korea and she speaks better than you? :O

  • @HakujinSamurai

Learn how to spell excellent you idiot, before bringing others down.

  • Wow she speaks Korean like a KOREAN from KOREA not like the diaspora accent

  • bleh. not crazy amazing.

  • @HakujinSamurai LOL AHAHAH! TO FUNNY DUDE GOOD 1

  • she's saying a lot of "what" and "yes" ....

  • this just makes me want to learn even faster

  • she probably just like grew up in korea or smth

not really that uh fascinating :D js

  • Until she nails the:"PLAYGOO",I won't believe that she is speaking Korean.

  • I'm korean yet you speak better than me...

  • What I'd like to know is.. What happened to that guy and IS HE OKAY???

  • she's barely speaking. not excellent hahaha

  • Korean is supposed to be really hard

  • .............!!

  • I'm not jealous. AHAHA.

But I can actually hear a bit of an accent in some of her words.

  • @ChurtleSnap i hear it too

  • Who is this pretty girl that she gets into a conversation and probably thinks "oh look, there's that camera again" lol. It's inspiring for sure.

  • What she first said to the guy who was recording is "What do you want?" in I think Serbo-Croat or some other Slavic language!!!!

  • @LittleJohnyDance she spoke Russian :) she said "so, what Sasha-shi?" Sasha being the name of the recording guy and -shi being a korean honorific particle, but you probably already know that =)

  • @lizzaree Oh, thanks, I thought I heard something like : "Що сачаш ти?" but I may have been mistaken. Anyway, how come if both are Russian, why did she have to speak in Korean to him? Or they were just joking :))

  • i love 2 learn korean....some1 help meee

  • im korean (both in birth and nationality) and older and speak fluent korean at home, yet she speaks better korean than i do >.<

  • ..... she lives in Korea no duh she probably speaks it fluently.

Its the same with people who live in the US or Canada.. are you complete American or Canadian? I guess not but you can speak fluent english.... its not that amazing.

  • this shit is paranormal. it should be put o the x-files

  • I wanna speak korean fluently T^T

  • 너무 예쁘셔서 말은 귀에 들리지도 않네요 ㅎㅎ

  • She keeps saying yes.

  • Amazing!

  • 혹시 한국에서 태어난거 아니에요? 그렇지 않다면 어떻게 외국인이 이렇게 완벽한 억양을 구사하죠? 와,.. 아무튼 신기하네요

  • *cries*

  • OMG

  • She's perfectly native. In her pronounciation, accent and everything.

  • was she born there ?

  • HOLY SHIT. SOOO COOL

  • time to go shut myself in my room and sulk.......Im jealous....

  • @bloc22 makes 2 of us

  • @bloc22 you know that Korean is a language right? anyone can learn it....

  • @quailchow Yeahm and ever heard that it's not easy? No one said I wasn't learning it.

  • @bloc22 well if you do want to be as good as her, sulking and crying won't solve anything, if you want to achieve your goal, you have to study hard! I know its a difficult language, I have been studying hard for 6 months and now I can understand everything this girl is saying! you just have to have an open mind and good work ethic to master a language, because everyone knows it sure as hell isn't easy and doesn't just come to you

  • @quailchow I hope you know that my comment was not written in seriousness -__- It's supposed to be funny.....you know?...ha-ha? I know learning a different language is only as difficult as you make it to be. It takes constant practice and dedication.

  • 왜? 응? 아마 문제가있는 한, 당신조차 한국어 당신이 얼마나 u는 한국어를 이해하지, 그것을 말하기

wae? eung? ama munjegaissneun han, dangsinjocha hangug-eo dangsin-i eolmana uneun hangug-eoleul ihaehaji, geugeos-eul malhagi

  • @IkutoTsukiYomiLuver3 Did you use google translate for that? Cuz, I made absolutely no sense out of it ^_^; Maybe it's just because I fail as a native korean. I'm not sure

  • Comment removed

  • AHHH OMGGG AMAZING O_O

  • she is lip syncing

  • wooow its actually good

  • 韓国語を話すことは困難ではない、それは実際には簡単に'!

한국어 말하기 어려운 아니라, 사실은 쉽게 '!

  • @IkutoTsukiYomiLuver3 .... your korean is so shitty... can you like, learn the correct grammar structures before you type?

  • 안녕하세요! 당신은 한국인

    annyeonghaseyo! dangsin-eun hangug-in.

Hi! I can speak Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Thai but mostly i can speak korean and japanese. i was born in Tokyo japan, and Seoul, Korea.

  • @IkutoTsukiYomiLuver3 lol born in two different cities huh?

  • @DDfear

  • @IkutoTsukiYomiLuver3 i don't know about your Korean, Chinese or Thai but your Japanese is pretty bad I have to say. And I hate to break it to you but it is impossible for you to be born in both Tokyo and Seoul at the same time. The closest would be for you to be born right as your mother was crossing between one country's air space or sea border into the other, but you say you were born in Tokyo AND Seoul, and that just isn't possible.

  • She speaks better then some korean.
