  • With all the horrible things happening in the world, you, slitheen, are worried about titles? Grow up kid. I'm just grateful that someone was kind enough to take the time and make the effort for me to see this wonderful program. I didn't know it exhisted until a few days ago. One of the best ever made. I've learned so much and been entertained at the same time./ I wish Bunting would have told on the cook and the Marine who was stealing too. How much hadn't they taken before? Rats!

  • A decent man Finch. And he has a family who will probably starve without his $. And Horatio owed him his life. I was surprised that he didn't give Mathews something. I don't think Bunting was ever stable but Finch helped him with that. He seems to have been his only, "family." Salute Finch./ When first Tappling came aboard, my first thoughts were that he'd make a grand meal. lol/ As if the officers would eat like kings and their stewards not know about it. People will believe what they want.

  • @mace106 Yes sir!

  • Why o why they don't release the HD version of this :(

With all the sea and land scenery, it would look spectacular...

  • @Nik123dj Because they didn't film this in HD?

  • @paulelastic

Watch this on 24'' monitor (which also supports full HD) and you'll see what a mess of picture you get. With all the great scenery on sea, this screams HD!! Imagine what a joy would be watching this in 1080p HD.

  • @Nik123dj No, I understand that, but my point was that they couldn't have released this in HD because it wasn't filmed in HD. In theory, you could get 720p from standard 35mm film, but the framerate is not going to be in HD, and it'll look choppy.

  • @paulelastic

A lot of blu-ray discs of movies from 90's were released that weren't filmed in HD, but they were able to get 1080p resolution, like Terminator 2 (1991) and similar. The thing is that this is relatively unknown production and they probably didn't saw any profit releasing the HD version.

  • @paulelastic

On the other hand, I don't know what film was used in Terminator 2, so you may be right.

  • I loved this series and would have enjoyed it even more if they had made more shows. Thanks Bramblefox.

  • I love Pellew!

  • Why do they always have to give the US audience simplified episode titles? Do TPTB assume Americans are all stupid or something? If I was American, I'd be pretty sore about this. It's not as if the English titles for the Hornblower episodes contain anything that would get lost in the rather simple translation from normal English to US English.

  • Robert Lindsay's so cute when he's mad.

  • You make me happy! :D

  • thanks bramblefox, i'm really glad you put these up.

  • A penny for the lot. Styles is a great character.
