How can anyone be so talented and spread such joy? His videos are helping me cope with a shattered heart. I hope he knows how much his music is blessing me through a terribly dark time in my life.
@HeartyMs I started with the emotional side too. I was 7 when I got saved so there wasn't much reason or logic anywhere at that age.. lol It wasn't until high school that I had doubts because I learned history and found out how many religions there were. Still, I didn't DARE actually admit to myself until about 25 years old that I no longer believed, but one day I just came right out and said it. It was weird at first, like I let down an old friend but after awhile I felt a great weight off me.

@qptqpt So God made us knowing that we would be in sin and that He would be dissatisfied with His creation. So the only way the most powerful being in the universe could figure out to fix the sin in the fallen world (that HE created) was to sacrifice His Son (who was himself) to Himself to save us from Himself.

@Croilir If your not aware of Keith Greens Life and History. He was part of the Jesus movement of the 60,s and he had a dramatic conversion to Christianity. He lived a live of pure devotion to Jesus. Sadly he was killed in a plane crash on the way to a concert along with two of his children. His wife Melody and other two children are still living.

@sharonfayfaulkner Actually Keith didn't join the Jesus Movement until the mid 70's. He and his 2 children were killed along with ten others that had went for a plane ride to check out the ranch at Last Days Ministry. Authorities claimed the cesna was beyond capacity which is probably why the plane never made it all the way up in the air and crashed into a wooded area instead. Keith always talked about going home with the Lord in an instant and that day they probably did.
I had some of his records back when I was a teenager cause I liked his music, but I never got to see what he looked like live. He is very inspiring and entertaining. He was a very lively person and I like the lyrics and the way he pounds on the piano! This really brings back a lot of memories for me! I remember sitting in the bathtub and singing along with him and stuff.
i have such a fear of death right now. it's all i ever think about. @Valthecatlover There is hope for everyone...but you must be willing to listen....You will never fear death again if you genuinely accept Jesus Christ as your saviour. It is hard not to think about death sometimes, but being obsessed with it means that you are fearful of where you are going when you die. This reminds me of the early days of my marriage, when my wife and I were poor and lived on little but faith. Now we've grown fat on overabundance of everything but what we need. I miss the times when we would spend hours listening to music such as this and focusing our attention on God. So easy to lose the faith, so hard to find it again.....
The reason there are so many disbelievers is because after the renaissance so many people are subject to logic and reasoning, and they only follow what they see and hear in the flesh which doesnt allow them to enter the spiritual realm.
He lived an AMAZING life. Keith Green was so much more than just a musician. He wrote articles for his own magazine, did missionary work, ran a small ranch, took needy people into his home, and Heaven knows what all. Just a very intense person, who passionately loved the Lord. Sometimes when I get discouraged, I think of this young man and it helps me get back on track.
oh yes..its such a blessing to be able to believe. Faith is a gift. it starts with our willingness, then in a flash comes this blessedness of faith & hope which is mind boggling (literally!:-). try it, you'll find its better than the dead, dry, bleak nothingness that unbelief brings. Someone who dies who is "in Christ" will go to heaven; someone who dies in "greek gods" or anyone/anything that's NOT Christ will go to the opposite of heaven which is hell. @HeartyMs I started with the emotional side too. I was 7 when I got saved so there wasn't much reason or logic anywhere at that age.. lol It wasn't until high school that I had doubts because I learned history and found out how many religions there were. Still, I didn't DARE actually admit to myself until about 25 years old that I no longer believed, but one day I just came right out and said it. It was weird at first, like I let down an old friend but after awhile I felt a great weight off me.

If you saw the Keith Green Story you would know that Keith knew the plane was going to go down. The fact that he wanted to immortalize himself, whatever floated his boat- he didn't have to allow 2 of his kids and the other people, including children, on that plane. If you knew Keith, you would know that his strongest characteristic was that he was very worldly. He knew how many people could safely ride on that plane. To call him careless would be a grand understatement.

actually the NTSB! report stated quite clearly that the plane was overloaded. know your facts before you open your piehole next time. keith, like many ocd co-dependents, was highly intelligent. clearly much smarter than you. he talked to his wife about not returning from that flight before he went to the airfield. keith quite clearly knew the risks he was taking. keith was always looking for a high. since he stopped taking the drugs, he tried to get that high from risky behavior.

Yes, the plane was overloaded, but Keith had no idea that that was the case. The NTSB clearly stated that it was pilot error that caused the crash due to a lack of pilot traning and experience flying a Cessna 414. There were 4 adults and 8 kids on the plane, which held 7 adults. But most of the children were very young and small. The conversation Keith had with his wife before going to his plane was done in a "kidding around" manner. Your assumptions about Keith are reckless

@Croilir If your not aware of Keith Greens Life and History. He was part of the Jesus movement of the 60,s and he had a dramatic conversion to Christianity. He lived a live of pure devotion to Jesus. Sadly he was killed in a plane crash on the way to a concert along with two of his children. His wife Melody and other two children are still living.

If you have lied, stolen, been sexually immoral, or used God's wonderful Name in disrespect, then, far from being good, you are a lying thief and an adulterous blasphemer. With the acknowledgement that you are not at all good, what kind of crazy chance are you taking with your eternity that there is no God to call you on your dark deeds! Heaven is a place of justice. The cross is your only hope of being "good."

@sharonfayfaulkner Actually Keith didn't join the Jesus Movement until the mid 70's. He and his 2 children were killed along with ten others that had went for a plane ride to check out the ranch at Last Days Ministry. Authorities claimed the cesna was beyond capacity which is probably why the plane never made it all the way up in the air and crashed into a wooded area instead. Keith always talked about going home with the Lord in an instant and that day they probably did.

I had some of his records back when I was a teenager cause I liked his music, but I never got to see what he looked like live. He is very inspiring and entertaining. He was a very lively person and I like the lyrics and the way he pounds on the piano! This really brings back a lot of memories for me! I remember sitting in the bathtub and singing along with him and stuff.

i have such a fear of death right now. it's all i ever think about. I'm going to be 22 in a week. i feel like i never got over that emo obsessed with death stage. is there no hope for me? how can i start living life and stop worrying about death? it consumes my whole thinking :-( afterall i could go at anytime, i'm scared!

@Valthecatlover There is hope for everyone...but you must be willing to listen....You will never fear death again if you genuinely accept Jesus Christ as your saviour. It is hard not to think about death sometimes, but being obsessed with it means that you are fearful of where you are going when you die. The only way you can lose that fear of death and 'know for sure' is to accept Jesus...I pray that you will. He is waiting for you to return and loves you very much. Blessings.

the only person i have ever seen that literally beat the piano keys when he played.
but the sweet and powerful annointing on his music was great.

Wow. I'm so glad God revealed this song to me recently. I am a cancer survivor (thus far). Yet, if the cancer reoccurs, I have the assurance I will be in heaven with Jesus (and Keith Green).

This reminds me of the early days of my marriage, when my wife and I were poor and lived on little but faith. Now we've grown fat on overabundance of everything but what we need. I miss the times when we would spend hours listening to music such as this and focusing our attention on God. So easy to lose the faith, so hard to find it again.....

The reason there are so many disbelievers is because after the renaissance so many people are subject to logic and reasoning, and they only follow what they see and hear in the flesh which doesnt allow them to enter the spiritual realm.

He lived an AMAZING life. Keith Green was so much more than just a musician. He wrote articles for his own magazine, did missionary work, ran a small ranch, took needy people into his home, and Heaven knows what all. Just a very intense person, who passionately loved the Lord. Sometimes when I get discouraged, I think of this young man and it helps me get back on track.

oh yes..its such a blessing to be able to believe. Faith is a gift. it starts with our willingness, then in a flash comes this blessedness of faith & hope which is mind boggling (literally!:-). try it, you'll find its better than the dead, dry, bleak nothingness that unbelief brings. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.

It must b pretty sad not to have God in your life because all you can do is go on youtube, look for christian vidz and post silly comments :) I pray for those who dont believe cos God does exist whether they want to believe or not. Im not the one to make comparisons because God made us all different and Hes given us a choice whether to follow Him or not. Well we can agree to disagree. I believe the two are totally separate. Someone who dies who is "in Christ" will go to heaven; someone who dies in "greek gods" or anyone/anything that's NOT Christ will go to the opposite of heaven which is hell. That's not my opinion; that is what is stated in God's word, which I believe totally.

the bible is not evidence of its claims any more than a book on evolution is evidence for evolution. That doesn't mean either one is false, its just that either one is not evidence for the claims it makes.
either the claims are real life or they are not, and that will be determined by observation etc.
Dont produce the evidence for your claims, and no one has any good reason to accept them.
i am anti christian, because it teaches terrible things like many religions do.

Will an explosion produce a skateboard? Such thinking is illogical. It violates cause and effect and common sense. Reality is that God made the world. Anything less is brain lyposuction, an intelligence-free zone. Better yet, be reconciled to God through the cross - the love and grace of God!

The Bible predicted Christ hundreds of years before His birth: born of a virgin in Bethlehem, speaker of parables, miraculous healer, rejected by His own people, but accepted by the non-Jews. Isn't that prediction alone amazing? Imagine me predicting a prophet arising in America, rejected by Americans, but loved everywhere else in the world! Further, He would be "pierced" for our sins. A continous fossil graveyard in a cliff 500 feet high means that there must have been 500 feet of water, that is, water of global flood capacity. The graveyard of fossils world wide is a warning. As in the days of Noah, so shall it be when Christ returns. I hope you will be ready!

is ad hominems and straight up insults the besy you can do? i've seen green's biopic. his wife related the events prior to the crash. she said she thought it was strange that green spoke openly of not coming back from that flight. so, it's true- green was planning not to return. plus "pirate"- i'm old enough to have met green. he was an EXTREMELY intelligent person who was obsessive in his attention detail. yes- he knew he was overloading that plane. he should be called what he is- a murderer.
