  • I was about 17 when this came out and I bought the Extended 12" mix. Seriously,..what happened to disco music? Why did it die as years went by.

  • lol when this came out in the UK, certainly in N. London, a rumour was doing the rounds that it was gary glitter singing!

  • @lebgold Yes, you are quite right. I was DJing at the time & that is exactly what I was told. And it was believable ! Ha ! Didnt findout 'til many years later !

  • The women wore such beautiful dresses! Nowadays the women dress like trashy sluts.

  • @mrob75 RIGHT! Disco music and Disco fashion was all about sophisticacion, glamour and style! I was just a kid in 1979 but watching all those Disco TV shows made me dream of a world of style and glamour!

  • Hey Mr Soul Sang. First time I am seeing your comments. Don't make fun of my triangle or I will bring it this weekend. That wasn't my only problem. People were telling Don Cornelius "what's the jew doing on this Soul Train show" They took me in the back after the show was over and made me eat grits.

  • Great song, I loved the disco era, brings back so many memories. The brain child and lead singer of this song is still doing music. He is an amazing talent.

  • Only knew the music. This really takes me back! First time I ever saw them. Thanks for posting this video!

  • Prior to Gary's Gang we were a wedding band in the New York area. When Gary's Gang ended for me I decided to open up an agency such as the one we worked for. Since 1982 we are Faze 4 Orchestras.. Oh and the late 70's was a great time to be in a touring disco band. The most fun I had in my life. Those were the day's. Regards, Bob Forman.

  • Man! That triangle guy is incredible!!!

  • Well this is a great tune from the Disco Era. No one could resist to dance to it or sing along. This video whitnesses Gary's Gang live appearance and let us see how they really were on the stage. It's a pity no good quality videos are available, but I guess this is good.

Una gran melodía de la Era Disco. Era difícil resistirse a bailar o cantar esta cancíón. Este video nos deja ver sus apariciones en vivo y como eran en el escenario. No hay videos de calidad, pero creo que este es bueno.

  • thats me on triangle. 32 years ago in February

  • @weddingsforever I can't believe I 've found one of Gary's Gang members!!! man, I was 12 when Keep on Dancing was hot all over radio playlists. This song has a special place in my heart, it got stuck in my mind from the very first time I heard it. Late 70's , what a great time to be a kid!

What hapened to the band? what you doing now? Thanks for your music, I must say it's the soundtrack of my childhood.

  • A great tune from the late 70's.Good memories.
