@MudRFunR ahhahahaha thats what he said lol omg but yeah must be fun ripping around on that if walmart goes out of business you should go in there in rip around lots of obstacles
@NWong33 This cart was factory built that way. I have a video called gears and pulleys explained. It shows more detail. The video is in my GoCart Mower playlist!
I haven't seen one of those in eons! I used to see them 4 sale @ crappy tire 10 years + ago (?) always wanted one but wasn't about to pay the 13 -15 hundred or so they wanted. Thanks for sharing, I had forgotten about them up til now.... now I want to get one all over again LoL
@Immacountryboy It's supposed to go about 15 mph. Not too fast. If you watch my GoCart Mower Jumps video or GoCart Mower Muddin video you can see it at full speed. I plan on putting bigger tires on it to increase the speed.
@mudrfunr i live in hawaii and yea they sell brand new ones in stock right now, it actually is very compact and portable so thats y they sell it over there
@EJsAdventures It is definately Yard Works. I still have the manual, but it still could have been made by anyone. The maker isn't always what the name says.
@MudRFunR yeah maybe the super swampers are a bit over kill, you would need a 4 foot extention for the blade to reach the ground.and not to mention a little more horse power.
HSS hire in the UK had a few when I was there. Nearly killed myself trying to get it off of a van because the taillift wasn't big enough (heavier than they look!) fun though!
@coccaro33 Someone else asked about getting parts for these. I know a place that had parts for these but it's under new management. I dont know the new name but next time I am near there I will check into it. It's about 45 minutes from where I live.
@Motorfordtoyota We have one and it works great. Problem is we can't find where to get parts. We need blets and a new blade. We are In Alberta , Canada. Canadian tire used to sell them, but after trying to get information out of them with no luck, is there anyone out there with info on how to get parts and where???
I saw a similar kart/mower displayed in a big Do-It-Youself & Garden Store near Bergisch-Gladbach (Germany) in about 2000. I wanted it so badly but as I was living in a 3rd-storey apartment at the time, buying one would have been pretty stupid even by my standards! Thanks for posting the clip!
When I posed this, I thought that I would get some responses from Canada but so far someone from the U.K has seen one and now from Germany. I had no idea they were sold anywhere else. Thanks for the comment!
@MudRFunR I've never seen another one either, bought it at an aution, it was in a pretty bad state when i got it, the mowers never worked properly but me and my brothers just used to do same crazy stunts on it. I have no idea where the guy i bought it from got it.
When I bought mine it was almost mint condition. It has cut alot of grass and mulched alot of leaves. Works great if the grass is not too long. It plugs up easily in deep grass.
Thanks for confirming that it WAS at Canadian Tire where I saw it. No one else remembers these mowers and I was beginning to think that my memory was slipping!
AWESOME!!! I need to go find me an engine at a yard sale or something. If I buy a used engine whats the most expensive part to fix/replace in case it doesn't work?
