Are those standard physics? Those strafe's are near perfect, how did you practice? I gotta learn that o.O

@ZirconCode It is standard physics. There are maps where you can practice it. Search google for "raz3rs quakelive strafe map". I also downloaded defrag at some point and practiced with the mod teaching me where to place my mouse. An excellent training video for defrag can be found by searching google for "genesis the beginning of".

looks like some sort of hack.. at the 2nd part of the map you completely jumped over 1 obstacle and landed on the next one

@OmgUrTrash Are you confused? There was no first obstacle that I jumped over. Maybe you're confusing that dark grate on the floor as a gap.

What HUD is that? It looks similar to one that comes with Warsow (Can't remember the name). Does it display all your weapons and ammo across the middle or is it just showing your current weapon?

To be honest, not much at all. I reinstalled q3a and installed defrag just so I could see how to strafe jump. I never played defrag until I started playing ql.

I did it slightly slower than this on my very first run, maybe by about 5-10 seconds or so. I admit I was lucky enough to be able to gauge the distance and go for the 2nd pad instead of the first one on the 2nd path. Then on the very last jump, I saw the railgun and was like.. lol this is gonna be easy :)
