  • BTW coming back to the idea of the bird feeder with the house, what if I put the feeder inside, it would work i know how to make it but would it be good or syill other birds would be attracted or the birds that live in the bird house won't like it or something?

  • @bLaCkAnGeL3o0 That might work, though it'd be very hard to clean out/restock the feeder.

  • thx ;]

  • Cool vid, I'm watching these vids as I'm making a bird house for my DT coursework (yr 11) I love nature and animals so thats why I chose to make a bird house I might combine it with a bird feeder 2 in 1 not sure if its a good idea.

  • @bLaCkAnGeL3o0 Hi, great to here you're making a birdhouse! I'd advice against putting a feeder on the box (it would attract other birds to the box and disturb the nesting ones) though. Great idea, nonetheless.

  • @chrismanmk thanks for your advice :P Could give me any ideas like what the target market wants/likes because I have to design something new to the range of bird feeders that already exist, it has to be easier to use and be better than others so feel free posting you ideas and thanks ;)

  • @bLaCkAnGeL3o0 Can't recommend the RSPB enough. They have an extensive list of feeders and forums that should help.

  • Amazing video! I never knew they did this, although it makes sense. I'm guessing from the absence of both a mate and nesting material that he hasn't been there long?

  • He was on his own for a while, but he started courting and he has successfully had all six hatchlings fledge. Don't worry, we got it all on tape, type in STBT on your search and click on all the vids that have that in brackets, from 2 to 14. Enjoy!

  • Aww bless - Thanks for sharing. We have bluetits nesting in a box in our backgarden but no camera - would love to know what they get up to. Thanks x Alison x

  • Aww. He is so sweet, indeed! I want to have him. <3

I didn't know birds sleep that way. :D

  • I get to enjoy this every night. Usaully he taps the box for no apparant reason. Isn't he sweet!!!

  • He is pretty. Very interesting how he hides his head like that.
