dam dats nice, i can relate with what you said,i hate when people ask you or tell you that you traced. i do the same thing as you thogh. Ive drawn gaara, inuyasha, duso, and a lot of pokemon. any ways, good job.

If you want photo shop function, get GIMP. It's a freebie program and it has similar function to photo shop.

Use Gimp for myself. It's also great when it comes to doing seamless textures as well.

It's probably the best you can do for freebies or, at the very least, it far surpasses MS Paint.

MS Paint isn't that great of a program though, I'll say that. YOu can't do layers or that many filters. There is another freeware Photoshop-like software out there that I've looked at, but I don't remember what it was called. If I come across it, I'll send you the link.
