About the singing the songs since 1994, I would say I was but I was barely a year old then lol ^.^ but i always come out with a verse or two from Hakuna Matata or that short little coconut song that Zazu sings for scar :D Every time I hum something its always hakuna matata or can you feel the love tonight and my friends start the song up and we ''lla la la '' our way through it cause we cant rembmer the words then we just have to brake out th efilm to watch it :D

My favorite song in The Lion King is Circle of Life! I just love to hear the Nants' Sevengya! Bagithi baba! It gives me goosebumps every time I hear it! I played the beginning of that song with my cats in the room, and they looked up as if they were the animals that looked up in the movie! It was so cool! I love The Lion King!

@funboredcool03 Haven't you seen Lion King 1 1/2? The true spirit of the Lion King was in 1 and 2, the tragic and loving themes in those movies was what attracted older fans, and younger fans. Don't get me wrong I like 1 1/2, but I don't consider it a true Lion King movie. It should have been titles "Timon's Story" Or something. I think if they make a 3rd, the true spirit will never really be there because the original writers are gone now. The younger writers only look for comedy.

@InuyashaBAAKA Yes, I have seen Lion King 1 1/2, when it first came out and I saw the trailer for it for the first time, I thought it was going to be The Lion King 3, but sadly, I watched and yeah, I agree, it should have been named 'Timon's Story' because, it was mostly about him -.-, And your probably right, the magic and love and joy would probably disappear if they do ever make a 3rd one, which is sad to say, because.. then there won't be a end to such a great story, for the movies at least.

The creators did make a 3rd movie, yes, but not in the sense of a 3rd sequel to The Lion King. So technically it is not the ‘3rd’ movie, so to speak, but just an added on adventure to the first movie. (But in other countries Lion King 1 ½ is known as Lion King 3)

the only thing i noticed that was 3d was when simba lies down on the rock edge and all the dust, leaves and seeds blow up into the air, those bits twirling around were the only visible 3d bits, i dont care though it was well remastered, still <3 the lionking!

I went to see it in theaters, and I can honestly say that the 3D added absolutely nothing to the story. However, the experience of seeing it on the big screen in itself was incredible, not to mention being surrounded by the sound. It was AMAZING, but like I said, I hardly noticed the 3D.

I saw it in 3D with one of my best mates, the quality was amazing compared to on the old VCR, and while I agree that not much of the 3D really stood out (except at the start when we see Zazu flying towards pride rock, that looked amazing) but it was still great to see in theatre, as I couldn't previously (It came out the year I was born).

I love this movie. Watched it the other day at school while people were doing wakikeria cause I wasn't signed up to do it(it's this music thing that you don't have in america). I probably will see it though cause I wasn't alive when it came out. I can't choose my favorite song because all of them are so good. But I will say that Hans Zimmer's score is amazing. When I was younger I loved it because of the visuals and songs. Now I appreciate more of the emotions conveyed and the store.

The 3D was VERY noticeable! Just to name a few: Opening sequence, the stampede, anytime it rains, Mufasa in the sky, the fight with Scar (especially when he leaps towards the screen) and the ending sequence.
