  • love the video man

  • Earth needs more sand!!!

  • What if we are still thinking with the same old thought . I mean this whole Universe might be like our milky way galaxy!. So we might have 200 Billion Universes waiting for us to discover :) ).

  • when i saw this video title i thought it was talking about penis sizes

  • size of a penis matters to a girl

  • dont ever watch this high, i dare you

  • @MrFlooja LOL just did

  • The narrator says that if the galaxies were turned into peas, it would fill up an enitre sports arena. News flash, that isn't even close to being true. Our minds weren't programmed to comprehend how big the universe is in the greater scheme of things. For all we know, the amount of galaxies could fill up billions and billions of stadiums at this rate.

  • Size dosent matter!! my Girlfriend said that!!

  • although not in this lifetime- I would have LOVED to see the moment humans reach the edge of the Universe. (World War 1 and 2? the odds are not in our favor)

  • not only earth has life

imagine: there are billions of solar systems out there ..

    it would be possible.

  • with more stars ! but do life exist ? there?

  • The universe is really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY big.

  • @MegaMnguyen our planet is dying, forest disappearing, population explosion, climate change, over fishing, most of our natural recources are gone,

hour future here on earth is dark we dont have a time, we need urgent new tecnology to find a new home,

otherwise we going to eat each other just after one generation.....

  • WHAT DOES IT MEAAAAAAAAN

  • off topic: THAT IS WHAT SHE SAID

  • what if there are billions of stars in each galaxy. there are billions of galaxies in the theotrical universe. but what if those universes were like apart of another universe. example: there would be 8 universes in our solar system and then another universe acting as our sun.

  • @FSUfanatic11 Metaverse which is in a xenoverse. but that's unconfirmed

  • That's what she said

  • no matter how many galaxies there are in this endless universe..i'm sure there is only one sense for the endless shape of lives it contains...the love!!

  • there sure are other living things out there. just imagine we are already here there might surely be living things out there.

  • suddenly my problems seem so small

  • by quadrilion, does she mean:

    1 000 000 000 000 000 ( 15 zeros - american format)

    or

    1 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 (24 zeros - normal format) ?....

  • i want to fill a sports arena with peas now and go swimming

  • so why are we fighting eachother for what a tiny piss of land... lets unite and go out to discover the universe...

  • @tommy0784 Brother i agree with you on that :)

  • @tommy0784

    I AGREE!!...cuz...THIS IS SPACE-SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

  • @tommy0784 "tiny piss of land" :P

Love the way you put it :D

  • @tommy0784 Indeed!

  • @tommy0784

We can't now that Obama shut down space shuttle program indefinitely.

  • @tommy0784 Sadly wont happen in our life time, i sure envy that generation that gets to see a united earth that explores the universe. They are lucky ones.

  • @tommy0784 we would be discovering universe but fucking CHRISTIANS and other religions, had to hold back sience in dark age.... so thank you fucking much christians.

  • You Earthlings have it all wrong - The Universe does not change size.

All references are simply getting smaller and slower in this phase.

    You can circumvent this bubble.

    You need no materials.

  • @eloquentlyfly Why don't you stop pretending like you're from another world and just be a human being? How's that sound?

  • 200 billion times 200 billion is 40,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 or 40 sectillion. :P that's a lot :D

  • What is our cosmos is just one small galaxy compared to something bigger?

  • @kidkong584 The milky way is actually pretty big compared to others.

  • @kidkong584 Probably, all making it evermore urgent that we develop a decent space program and get ourselves off this rock before it's blown to kingdom come

  • @EdikShepherd This universe is amazing.

  • and something like that ...

  • the one who does not care about the size of the universe and is thinking just on what he should do to win a stupid video game is ignorant( i think so ...)

  • So there must be atleast 3X a gogal plex of stars in the universe. A gogal pled is like 99 zeros to 100 zeros.

  • oh my god... her voice is so annoying : |

  • title=thats what she said XD

  • The titles is insisting that WE WERE ALL FUCKED INTO EXISTENCE

  • Space just fucked humanity :P

  • great thanks for sharing very interesting...!

  • size doesn't matter to 5 people xD

  • Comment removed

  • @55painterman fucking fail

  • Size does matter when efficiency at the micro level reaches a barrier. Think the human brain :)

  • ya u said all the beaches on earth what about desertsO_o

  • Kinda a lesson is subtlety

  • "Size Does Matter"

    Roflmao

  • Thanks for making us feel soo tinny

  • jk

  • Imagine if life only ever happened here.......!

  • @petestrat07 your stupid to thank that...

  • Comment removed

  • @petestrat07that would be really sad cusz the earth is only supposed to support life for only another 500 million years i don't knoe why people would thumbs up your comment it sound very ignorant.. the probability of like happening somewhere else in the universe is bigger than the earth put together.

  • @kuntyfacedbitch That was exactly my point and that's why it has been thumbed up. It is way more absurd to think that life is unique to our little planet than to think of life elsewhere within an infinite univese. If it happens here it wolud happen everywhere.

  • @petestrat07

    :<

  • @petestrat07 what IS life, though? in a way all of the universe is very much alive.

  • @petestrat07

    Ironically, perhaps it does

  • @petestrat07

if thats's true then we are truly the most rare species ever existed in the cosmos wow Blows your mind if you think about it. I feel so special lol.

  • Who wants to know the truth tell me

  • 0:20 haahahahhaaha thats how he wants his dick to grow..!!! XD ahahhahahahahahah..!!!!

  • its so big, we cannot imagine HOW big actually.

And it consists of Atoms which are incredibly small. So we live in a world, with such differences in size its hard to imagine!

You know that ALL the atoms in a GLASS OF WATER, when the size of SAND GRAINS, would be able to ENTIRELY cover the Netherlands in a 1.5 mtr thick layer?

and that when you would make the atom's nucleus the size of a FLY, the electrons would fly about one KM away?

the sizes are simply unimaginable, numbers say nothing.

  • the stadium example made me say Holy Shit

  • stfu bitch way to ruin the clip

  • Einstein was wrong... Fabric of Space and Time doesn't Exist....

  • 1:00 Wait, they cant fill the arena, because the arena is in the pea! Right? Because... The arena is on earth... And... The earth... Is in... The... Galaxy.....

  • The universe is really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY big.that u cant just say n write

  • And some idiot tougth we are alone....

  • When they say light year I understand it's how far light travels in one year, but are they talking about just any light? Because different sources of light give off different brightnesses. Like when he mentioned light from a flashlight taking 100,000years to travel across the galaxy it doesn't seem like light from such a weak source could travel that far. I mean it seems even from a few miles away you probably wouldn't be able to see light from a flashlight if someone was pointing it at you.

  • @fictionalize Light actually travels slower when its going through air or water, If you traced the path of the one photon that went perfectly straight from your flashlight, it might make it across the univers in 100k years. But in reality there is so much dust in space that it would have to shine through the dust. If this dust wasnt here, the Center of the galaxy would outshine our own sun. So in short if it isn't going through stuff, it could totally make it across.

  • @purplederple The point was not whether the light would reach or when, the point was a relative human description of how big a galaxy is compared to what we used to believe. Good points about the dust in space, though.

  • I think its a general statement.

  • 0:55 it says 100 billion galaxies and the chick with the super annoying voice says 200 billion... wtf

  • @joelkeaton yeah, they sat and counted them separately and now they can't agree like men and women never can.. ;)

  • Whats the name of this documentary??

  • I found the answer to my question. The Universe is about 10 billion light-years across.

  • @RandomStuff1O1 across where?.. ;)

  • I wonder how many light-years big the entire universe is?

  • THOU SHALT NOT COMMENT THUSLY:

Thou shalt not beg for thumbs up.

Thou shalt not take the name of chuck in vain.

Thou shalt not insert penis chatter into science discussions.

Thalt shalt not pretend to be from soviet russia.

Yea, do not thumbs-up this comment lest ye be judged.

  • @kaderoder Just one more thing; -Thou shalt not as a normal thinking person that never went to university understand (or show/state that u do) the same things as a scientist because it makes them feel very very very angry.

  • i found that gravitation and time is inversly praportional.

  • thumbs up if you tought it was about something perverted o.o

  • @mardarinoob I think that was the purpose :)

  • @mardarinoob like a huge raging cock?

  • @mardarinoob size does matter, i can tell you that as a woman, and there is nothing perverted about that.. ;)

  • Actually, the universe is basically an atom compared to Chuck Norris's penis.

  • time, in my opinion, doesn't actually exist. Time is a term used for intervals of events. time travel isn't really possible thinking about this because there is no such thing as time. Once an event in time happens, it can't be relived even if we are talking about time travel, because each "second" is an event where something happened. But like I said, once that second occurs, you can't relive it. And why are we always talking about the speed of LIGHT? Why don't we think about the speed of DARK?

  • @MasterBearr 1.) good point time is FORWARD. 2.) theres no such thing as speed of DARK. because Dark can't be created.. the black sky at night is space not time. And LIGHT is AN ENERGY that is illuminated by HEAT. Therefore this explains the Energy Transfers of matter.

  • @DCloonix lol, the second part was a joke, about the speed of Dark

  • @MasterBearr hahaha :D

  • @MasterBearr Time does exist, it may not be physical, but it is defined in a span of even intervals. Like an hour being 60 minutes, or a minute being 60 seconds. Time once was not so well defined, like going by sunset or sunrise, because those events will become closer to each other during daylight hours and further apart during daylight hours depending on the season. Time comes in a span of intervals, so it has to exist to be able to measure it. Music uses time to establish the tempo of a song.

  • Well , As I Know , SPACE IS INFINITE , It Has No End , I Am Just 12 Yrs Old..

    Yes It's TRUE..

    Even Numbers Are Infinite

Well Im Isaac Bryle Jaim ..

    1st Year Student

  • Change the tittle! This makes me think of a shanedawson video.

  • but... when there is a end of the universe what is behind it then?

  • The universe is really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY big. <-- description

  • Soon we are going to find out there are 1000000 universes.....

  • I have a small wiener!! ...crap! -__-'

  • assteroids should bomb the vagina

  • You sure she isn't holding 200 billion universes in her hand?

  • Enough with the penis comments! =P

  • and people still doubt about ets lol

  • so.............its big

  • and what about mohamed the pedophile prophet . mohamed said, allah created the moon(allah only know one moon) and placed it in the middle of the seven heaven. then decorate the lowest heaven with stars to protect the heaven from devils trying to sneak into heaven. the stars are meant to be made into misslies(meteors) for throwing at the devils. great science in the quran, the word of their pagan moon deity.

  • it's all a matter of perspective. Is the universe incredibly big, or are we incredibly small.

  • @zippydedoo i think we are really small

  • That's what she said

  • if the edge of the galaxy is 100 000 lightyears then we can only see the size of the universe 100 000 years back in time

  • y are they talking about my penis :(

  • @awsome5ful you have 1 quaddrillion penis. ewwww

  • size doesn't matter for chuck norris

  • Well it kinda does make sense that there really is a god now... I mean think about it... How can something become the whole universe before space and time?

  • 1:00 suddenly i dont feel so alone anymore o_o

  • But maybe the universe isn't really really really really really really BiG.

Maybe we are really really really really really really small and the "size of the universe" is like an apple for a normal creature. Then imagine how a "big" thing looks like ...and no,I seriously mean it you imagine cuz I can't. :O

  • @TekTnTK3nT yeah,, its all a matter of perspective...

  • More stars than all the grains of sand on every beach in the world :@!!!

  • the title is misleading :P

  • @SRDTL haha

  • @SRDTL LOL

  • @SRDTL lol

  • science kinda mucked up the definition of "theory". To a normal person, a theory is something that hasn't been proven yet, or is unconfirmed. Theories in science, however, are proven, many MANY times before and are confirmed. Gravity is a theory. Light is a theory. It's all theory. Big bang happened, we evolved from apes, QQ.

  • thumbs up if u dnt like the way u have 2 spell words out 2 write comments all the time also If time flows then time is theoretically made up of Infinitley small bits, but in an Infinite amount of things, every possibility should come through, so in that sense, in just one second, shouldn't everything you could ever possibly imagine have happened, yet that means, we are never at any one place at one time, and that when we are here, the past we know is just memories, its a scary thought, i know :/

  • Thumbs up if you giggled at the title :)

  • @thefamousrobloxian Whoa, didn't expect a player from Roblox to comment on a Science video. Whaddup.

  • @yummypieProductions ya im just really interested in space science and other sciences. and nmu ?!?!

  • @thefamousrobloxian :3 glad to know Roblox players love science too

  • @thefamousrobloxian :D username?

  • @thefamousrobloxian

"Too big, too smalls, size matters after all"

    -Rammstein

  • @thefamousrobloxian Thumbs up if you get the title when you read this comment lawls

  • @thefamousrobloxian yeah i was thinking the same thing. it's a wrong title. they should change the name.

  • well i do believe in God, the difference with me and the rest of belivers is...i have a scientist mind. I other words, i belive in science as much as religion. The big bag makes perfect sence but we cant still explain the true origins of "time and space its self". What religion emphasizes on is the believe of a power full force of creation, but it doesnt explain how. What Science emphasizes is on exacly how this creation takes place. Religion and Science always go together.

  • @UltimateProMelody Sorry to burst your bubble (and I'm not tring to be mean) but Religion and Science do everything but go together. Science has contradicted nearly everything Religion has said. At the moment, I'm not sure what to believe. I've been fed this stuff about God and Jesus all my life, but Science disproves most of what Religion originally taught.

  • @Jmama47 its ok....i respect your oppinion...i actually meant to say science should have some sort of religion...as well as religion having science...in order for them to be mutually understood. Im just saying...if religion had some science, it would be more credible. And if science would had some religion, it would be accepted by everyone. Im just saying they should be related. othoer wise they will just continue to contradict each other...

  • Everybody belives in God,but they just don't realize it.

We don't know how God looks... but we do know that a powerfull force made the unvierse...

Either a huge gas that made the universe or a human-looking being it is still considered God,because it created life.

Those who don't believe in God are ignorant, those who don't believe in religion are clever, get the difference people.

  • I love the info xD

  • GOD

  • i like milky way chocolate

  • The vastness of space makes me feel so insignificant, it's downright therapeutic.

  • 80 years ago, we thought our that the intire universe consis of what we know today

    as our milky way galaxy,

imagin 80 years later from now.

'AS THE STARS IN THE HEAVEN CANNOT BE NUMBERED'

so you guys first start calculating how many grains of sand are in plant earth

and that isnt even 5% of space stars galaxys

so its your choice to count the uncountable or belive

  • Why do Christians have to spoil a good science forum by imposing their outdated views on people ? Man !!! I know I've never gone to a church to interrupt their service and tell them what I really think about their religion. Enough of the guilt trips, the scare mongerring, the boogie man or whatever else freaks fear. This forum is for science something you obviously don't get.

  • @oneoctavelow Christianity i guess it's ok, they dont exactly ruin our plans, but yes this is not a forum for them lol.... but worst is islam... they just dont belong to this forum but also they ruin our plans.... they did it before, and they're gonna do it again... damn those bastards... lets all get into a "wormhole" and go back in time to 600 AD and kil the responsible for the brainwashing. xD We already have natural disasters delaying our plnas, we dont need somehting else doing it.

  • @Clavsicus To me Judeo-Christianity and Islam are two faces of the Semitic 'coin' they are both characterised by a central tenant focused on expansion, even if done so by the sword. The Indo-Arian branch on the other hand; Hinduism, Buddhism, Zen etc. Are truley peaceful religions devoid of political involvment. .

  • @Clavsicus You think Christianity is better than Islam ? If they had their way Christians would forbid the scientific endevour as they have during the dark ages and burn women (some 200000 of them) to the stake for being witches

  • @oneoctavelow Hereticism was serios crime the Catholic totalitarian state punishable by death. Italian astronomer Giordano Bruno mate his fate when the church burned him to the stake for ascerting that the earth orbited the sun. As a sign of mercy the church wrapped a bag of gunpowder around his neck to quicken his end and shorten his suffering as the flames engolfed him.

  • @Clavsicus Galileo Galilei lived under house arrest for most of his older years for ascerting the same. Only through his friendship with the court he managed this more 'leanient' sentence. I would suggest that the single greatest impediment to the development of western science is Christianity. Today we still hear echoes of the same antiquated, dogmatic, flawed understanding of the world around us through the born again.

  • @Clavsicus They have no blooming idea of what we're on about but they still summon enough wisdom to utter "just remember there was once a Jesus' ... Poor humanity...

  • @oneoctavelow Red all your comments.. what you say makes perfect sense.... im Christian, i was baptised... but i dont go to church nor pray or anything... and i also know that not everything religions state are not always true... so im not bothered to follow all that crap... if only a proof showed me that god existed then it's ok.. but proof such as the ones we want do not happen lol... so that makes me "agnostic". Only science can amaze me xD. Damn, wish i could live forever to meet alien life.

  • hm, a flashlight traveling at 186,000 miles a second, possible, but chuck norris' round house kick is much faster

  • praise to Allah as much as His creations in the heavens and earth.

  • for those who don't believe in aliens. HA HA. To be fare i don't believe in the whole sci fi laser nonsense.

  • This really made me think......

About who the hell and what the hell I am in this.... I thought our solar system was the only thing and the stars we see are just other planets but then how are there so many planets in our solar system? shooting stars? rocks in space?

I feel so unimportant, this also makes me think about Sci-Fi movies :D

  • @Naturepheonix Think of it this way. Of all the molecules in the Universe yours are composed into a sentient being. That's winning the lottery for each molecule. Show them a nice time they're Very Important Particles. The god botherers are greedy and simpleminded, they want the prize of life to last forever.

  • @nilbud Yea I agree, man this is deeep!

  • @Naturepheonix Well I am very old, I was bound to notice it sooner or later..

  • @nilbud :D

  • @nilbud

now see that you are reduced to slave and near animal in a cage and your life is recorded poorly and you will pass into history as the opinion of others and not even your own from yourself... then say WOW I been cheated all my life!

Your prize of life... it is worth ZERO if you did not plant a fruit tree...did you know that?

if you are not seen by God as linked to life by trying to balance and be part of the web of it... you are as good as never born as in "DATA NOT FOUND".

  • Women taking about Astrofysics on NG= #FAIL

  • more stars in universe than all beach sand grains put together on the earth!!! that's really amazing.

  • The observable universe is about 879,847,934,000,000,000,000,000 km in diameter. The entire universe is at least 1,475,873,950,000,000,000,000,000 km wide (widely reported figure of 156 billion light-years). According to cosmic inflation theory, the entire universe could be at least 87,984,793,400,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 km wide

  • @NGC6188 dummy math makes no sense on reality.... infinity has no limits and the big bang is a theory now exposed by ever growing quasars that simply have no upper size limit... so big bang is now just a quasar jet we are inside... none of the numbers you give have to do with a Big bang or Universe.

  • OMG it's even bigger than my COCK!

  • "There are ten, even hundreds of billions of stars" Why the fuck would you say ten if there's over a hundred billions?

  • He said tens, as in tens of billions, not ten lol.

  • is giant and IS INFINITIVE

  • size does matter, in some cases it doesn't matter...it depends on position in space...

bacteria/virus can kill an elephant...but elephant can kill a dog...big dumb guy with no skills can get killed by a little guy with skills and brain...

  • Imagine how tiny we are. and we think we are so smart and wise.

  • Personally... i dont think that science disproves the 'existance of god' in any way... in fact i think it only helps to prove it even more. Rather then it just being a feeling... looking at just how intricate and organized everything is in the universe, its obvious that it could not have just happend by fluke, and for no reason. Everything in the universe happens for a reason - so why wouldnt the universe itself have been created for a reason.

  • 101Rivo lol same here man, same here, with a big creamy blunt and a strong coffee..

  • this is the kinda stuff that keeps me up at night
