Unlike in video games they have no special abilities besides penetrating through materials easier, hollow points are much more deadly on soft targets. The ammo in this video is literally exploding on impact, and burning a trail through the air, big difference.

@PsychoMantis357 Yeah it was one of two things, either a low powder charge made a round lodge in the barrel and it was then impacted by the following round, or it just exploded from the heat of the barrel which is often called "cooking". Ive never seen it happen before so I was pretty happy when it did, made for a good video I thought :D
