  • Unmistakeably the great jazz guitarist 'Eddie lang' discretely playing on this track

  • Does anybody know the title of this song?

  • @wwrigle2 A Bench in the Park

  • I think what signorgelato was trying to say was how come this video got cut short? Was there some copyright infringement when the fellas stepped up, and is this why you didn't post the whole song?

  • Hi 333Maxwell. I agree, the man had talent. I especially like his movie, High Time! I was addressing beyond his facade. Many accounts of his being horrible and a monster to his first wife and kids. Peace. xxxooo

  • Bing was the best indeed

  • the one in the middle is my great grandma

  • wow!

  • the one on the far left is my granpa!

    p crosby jr.

  • Really?!

  • ya i think its cool too

  • Beautiful.

  • Nice song. The voices of the girls can be annoying and funny at first listen but if one takes time to appreciate them the songs are really good and the girls can sing.

  • there was colour in 1930!?

  • Yes, technicolour. It's really complicated process but it's not "colour film".

  • Does anyone know if all the king sisters were really sisters or did outsiders perform with them? Was there a "Lorraine"

  • Yes, Bing was, is and always will be the Best for me. The Rhythm Boys without Bing would be like the Andrews Siters withou Patty. Not much! And that's exactly what happened. They fizzled and were gone.

  • The Brox sisters were:Bobbe Brox [1901-1999],Kathlyn Brox [1906-1988] and Lorraine Brox [1900-1993]

  • Well, as long as they can profiteer off the efforts of those persons long dead, why not deny the rest of us?

  • ????

    um??

    huh?

    what do you mean???

    I don't understand your comment??

    ok,

    thanks for posting...

  • They're probably talking about the fact that the companies who own these clips often have them removed from YouTube and not shown on TV or released on DVD. They don't want us to see them, especially for free on YouTube!

    Thanks for posting this!

  • @furlight No doubt, what the?!!

  • Love this stuff. Too bad Viacom has stuck a knife in it and we can't see so much that used to be available.

  • All of this is SUPPOSED to be public domain!!

  • Bing was the best

  • Bing was NOT the best. When he went "solo" he burned a lot of people, including the Rhythm Boys and his own family! Book: Hollow Man: quite a read. Harry Barris was a relative of mine and Bing burned him bad. Just thought to search for Harry Barris in youtube. Mel Torme did a cover of HB's I Surrender Dear. Quite beautiful. karaokeKate, S.F. • Imagine if Bing had not had gone solo. Than he would have burned the world. Book: "Pocketful of Dreams," quite a read. Bing can't help it if he needs to support these musicians so that they are popular. Lets be pragmatic, these people came to see Bing and Bing alone.

  • Well, I can't imagine if Bing had not gone solo. Interesting perception. But, my friend, before there was "Bing", there was the Rhythm Boys. And before "Bing", superstar, was his first wife, Dixie Lee. At the time SHE was the star, he was on her coattails, with people advising her to dump HIM. As I said, Hollow Man is quite a read. No denying Bing had talent. You can have your perception of history. Reality slams pragmatic! Happy New Year ;-} novatokate

  • hollow man is a shameless character assassination. imagine how many people would want a piece of you if you were an entertainer of his stature. he made a lot of money and struggled to keep his privacy despite being the kind of person who would like to give all kinds of people the time of day.

  • your incorrect about Bing kate. he took care of a lot of people. paid al rinkers hospital bills after he became sick and he had a list of people he told his accountants to provide for if they were in need. harry barris wrote a book where he describes a falling out over an incident but he never mentioned feeling 'burned'

  • I know this is a year old... but there is no such thing as the BEST.

But I can say, as a modern day musician I can't even begin to suggest the impact Bing had on myself and so many of the musicians who's talents I admire so like Dean Martin and Les Paul.. Bing.. sure, he may of shut some doors, but he sure opened many too. No saint that's for sure, but from a purely musical legacy perspective, the man is one of my true hero's.
