  • Cubiche88@ I really like ur response to worldwatcher9@ you could not have said it any better. Afro Cuban conga drumming is extremely complex.. What makes is so special and fun to play. Is the space one has to be creative. As long as your in clave the ideas are endless. And there is nothing nicer than when rumberos , have a conversation with the conga drums. As in call and response.Or when one player finished another player phrase. That's what make rumbas interesting.

  • Sweet stuff!! That's nice playing by both guys, especially the guy with the 3 congas!! He's really flowing smooth. That guy is lock in with the cata and clave.

  • it sends chills down my spine. close your eyes and listen!

  • @WorldWatcher9 Greetings, I am Afro-Cuban born and bread, I do appreciate your concern for what you believe to be missing in our music, but since you are not Afro-Cuban you should not make such a comment, odviously you do not understand our rythm.

  • @WorldWatcher9 Listen closely, every instrument is having a conversation. Afro-Cuban is complex and one needs to study extensively before they can fully comprehend the dynamics and roles of each instrument in a session. Also depending on the various styles of Afro-Cuban.
