@zfdgz Thank you for this video upload. I've been a fan of Oshen, and of "Nesian" music in general, since looking up information on the Solomon Islands some time back. I've heard Oshen sing in both English and Melanesian Pijin, but this seems to be neither. What language is this? Is it the local tribal language of the area where Oshen grew up? If so, what do you know of this language? Thank you again for any information.

You can grow hemp in one short season of 4 months...the same fibre would take a stand of trees 20 years to grow. So what's wrong with peace and love...and protecting the planet?

@kauaiboyz51 He's speaking in Tok Pisin, which is the common version of English pidgin spoken in Papua. It's more difficult to follow just by ear, but is easier to understand when you see it written. It's pretty much the lingua franca there since there are so many different native languages spoken there. Personally, I love the sound of it.
