I can vouch for this. I just purchased a shotgun sling from BDS. After some minor testing in my living room on an unloaded gun, the gate on one of my hooks popped off. The gate seems like it is made of a very thin piece of steel or tin. (not joking) The nylon strap seems fine so I am going to just replace the hooks. I can't believe they put some pos hook on the sling. Now I am reconsidering purchasing any further products from them if this is how they cut corners.
