  • for the bassline is the arp pattern triplets? i always thought it goes 000 000 000 like badadum badadum kick playing on the third of each one but when i put this in my ielectribe it doesnt sound right. the ielectribe doesnt have an arp but my mkxl has one i could use that and loop it with a kosp if thats what i need to do. any help would be really great thanks =)

  • @kevinsnellingutube Hello. The bassline is 4/4 with the first note in each beat dropped out to make room for the kick drum, much like trying to mimic sidechain compression. The triplet psy bass was, in my memory, something made famous by Astral Projection, and now used by many for small, breakdown parts.. Anyway, the key to getting a good psy bassline is, like the kick drum, all in the modulation. Should I do another tutorial along these lines? :)

  • A tutorial on how to properly use some of the effects on the ESX (Grainulator, Flanger, Phaser, Time shifter etc..) would be awesome. Just a suggestion :)

  • @pmsan29 "I erased all the ughh, augh, eww yeah yeah samples' haha! Excellent video BTW, this is great info.
