There are now almost 31 books now. I know this video is a little older and kind of newer then most but I have RPed in gor for 13 to 14 years now and have kept up with the books and most would not understand what your saying. There are to be 31 come this year. I follow gor greatly and enjoyed all the books so far.

I am both a roleplayer and a lifestyle Gorean. My roblem with allot of Gorean RPs is that it seams that allot of folks seam to not understand the difference between fact and fiction. If a person's character is in a relationship with someone do not mean the players are in that relationship.

just a hint, of no real importance, but you compared Gor to king author's day. A better idea of what gor was like/period. Would be the ancient greeks. Gor like the greeks revolves around city states. Each city having its own military, economy, and leadership. Their clothes and armor seem to fit the books descriptions better. The slave trade in Greece was major, and their influence from Persia also had many gor-like attributes (dances etc)

Just a small correction. Force collars did happen, only it was only free women that were force collared not slaves. Slaves cannot be force collared because it implies they have the right to refuse a collar. Only free women have the right to refuse and escape a collar. This is in the books. So how is it fair if someone claims to RP Gor go oh btw I dont deem that valid cause I have final say. Wrong it doesnt work that way. What is valid is that valid. The rules of role play on the site have evolved, and as I said to many a person all ready, Gor rp WILL die out on IMVU within the next year, if people don't get with it, and start following the rules, and evolving with rp as it has moved on from the days of name change for new charas and 3D combat. The numbers of gor rpers have dwindled each month, and I don't see it recovering if you all stay so god damned jaded towards one another. Simply put, get it together!

Scorp is a ass but He does know his shit force collaring. YES it was in the books. WOMEN was force collared. Men at times was given the choice with a blade to their neck to submit or die. But men where NOT force collared. Seeing how this is a ONLINE GAME. How can any force be done? It can NOT. once you put the collar on its accepted. I find that this is the attitude a good deal of Gor rpers on the circuit have, because of how far its fallen through the actions of people like juicy. They assume the worst in something or someone, even if no true reason to not trust has come to light.

But even slaves, still have a will, even if its been broken. so speaking in those terms, a persons slave character, whether it be a fighting slave, a pleasure slave, a tavern slave, hell any type of slave, could very well, due to how the typist behind the character created the characters personality, try to avoid the collar, or even attack the collaree. Just a small correction. Force collars did happen, only it was only free women that were force collared not slaves. Slaves cannot be force collared because it implies they have the right to refuse a collar. Only free women have the right to refuse and escape a collar. This is in the books. I will provide a quote though it is a long one on it if requested.
