Trial was long and all evidence was heard as well as all defensive points, defense experts and lawyers....there was huge evidence of all kinds, the PR story of "no evidence" is strongly contradicted by the whole trial and by the 400plus page verdict motivation which is completely balanced and objective...in this story the victim is hardly mentioned. It discounts the fact that Rudy could have broken into the 7 via della pergola and assumes the break in was staged. It assumes that Rudy would not have bothered to break into the cottage because he already knew the girls, it assumes that he is to smart to break into another place after he had just been caught breaking in in Milan.

It assumes that the piece of glass from the window found on the floor in Meredith's room was tracked in, not before she was murdered or directly after because it assumes the murderer went to the bathroom before entering Meredith's room. It assumes that the person who staged the break in tracked the glass into her room in the process of covering Meredith with a duvet and locking the door.

It assumes the break in was staged because nothing was stolen. However, Meredith's cell phones had been stolen and then thrown into the bushes. One of the items stolen from the law firm in Perrugia was a cell phone, the other was a stolen laptop discovered to be in Rudy Guede's possession after he was caught breaking into a kindergarten in Milan. (Massei Report, p45 and 46)

Therefore something was stolen. Whether Rudy intended to kill her or not can't be determined, but after he killed her it probably occurred to him that he should ditch the cell phones that he stole from her.

Rudy was found with scratches consistent with a knife fight on three of his fingers. Neither Amanda or Raffaele had a scratch on them.

Rudy's dna was all over Meredith's room. Amanda's was nowhere to be found. Raffaele's was allegedly found on a bra clasp. Guede's Dna was discovered on the torn and bloody bra strap, his skin cells were found inside Meredith, his Dna was found on the clasp of her purse, mixed with hers. His handprint, made from the victim's blood was discovered on the pillow case. A bloody footprint that was matched to Rudy Guede is pointed from Meredith's room towards the door. (p. 43 and 44 Massei report)

Meredith's key was never found. Probably because Rudy used it to lock the door behind him and then ditched it somewhere along the way to Germany with his bloody garments and shoes. (Massei Report p, 104) He then ran out the front door, went disco dancing for a couple hours and hopped a train out of the country.

It gives Amanda the benefit of a doubt, but just because it doesn't drip with the bias and far fetched guesses related to the motivations of the key players in this case that is present in the Massei report doesn't mean that it's shit.

its a really confusing case and my opinion is that we can't know for sure by reading stuff on internet, everyone is acting like experts. take a look at the photo from the bathroom and see where the blood is,if amanda cleaned the place she would have to shower afterwards but there is no blood in the shower...weird..

I am an American myself, but when I see some criticize the Italian justice system just because they didn't like the verdict... well, it makes me mad! Amanda Knox almost certainly did it, and she's lucky she wasn't tried in the US, where she might have received a death penalty. Those aren't FACTS. Facts are things like not one of Amanda's finger prints were found at the murder scene. The supposed murder weapon didn't match the knife imprints on found on the sheets. Those are FACTS. There is nothing but circumstantial evidence in this trial, most of which can be attributed to close living conditions.
