This is the 2nd hardest boss.

1st is Aki's(his) mom (Queen Larsa)

Reasons are

1.Aki has only hard-to-dodge final attack , Larsa has all hard-to-dodge attacks

2.Aki has less , much less HP than Larsa

3.Its hard when you fight with larsa because she launches slow and fast bullets and traps you between barriers , Aki uses 2 slow-fast modules so its easier to dodge

Nobody has no-missed Queen Larsa yet though and Spiritual Larsa has bad safespots.

None of these patterns have safe spots, it's all hardcore bullet herding and streaming. On the last pattern he suicides and bombs very specifically to give himself a window to stay alive longer and do damage.

Bombs don't do damage during the fight. And, though not shown here, if you shoot this boss with the green shield up it takes no damage and retaliates with an even stronger pattern over what it's already doing.

It always makes me wonder whether or not this boss was a joke. There's clearly no way you can beat this boss without playing flawlessly so you get enough lives to just barely defeat the boss. I've never seen anyone defeat this boss without dying.

well actually it is possible to beat aki without a single bomb or getting hit at all. you must rush in and pay attention to the middle of your ship (a little blue ball) make sure no purple hits that and you're good to go.

i hate that damn shield this boss has, if you hit while it's up the whole fucking screen just goes purple and you can't see crap, and it's no use bombing the bastage either. the 'reflected' bullets can't actually damage you, but they keep you from seeing the ones that can.

DoDonPachi Dai Fukkatsu (lit. Great Revival) added counter lasers, so anytime you use your laser to survive the last desperation pattern it spawns an insane curtain of bullets. And usually Hibachi has no less than three patterns, in any DDP.
