Oh, I would have loved this scene way more if they had talked over the phone, like they do in the book. It would totally display their acting skills had they been able to show their emotions without looking eachother in the eye. The reaction to the ; Is it because you couldn't have children?' comment would have been way more powerful had she doubted how to respond before hanging up without a word. Ah well, opinions differ.

i think its an great movie, and the book is also good. i loved the whole story of two woman who are eachothers soulmates.. the story is based on a greek mythe and i think the book is kind of complicated but still the story he is tryin' to tell is great!!

a truly marvellous film, if i remember correctly. two of my favorite actors here, sharing a great chemistry .. bibi in particular is very appealing in this.
