  • @AwesomeAssassin1000 Yep, corys can be mixed and matched because of their non aggressive behaviors

  • great footage. love the corys

  • nom nom nom!

  • Very nice!

How about some music for your video?

    Try YouTube's AudioSwap. (-;

  • do you know if panda cory can be in the same tank as peppered cory

  • Always liked corys. Nice vid.

  • what kind of mossy grasses are those that you keep in the sand? We just switched to a sand substrate too and are planning plants-- your help is much appreciated! Beautiful cories too!

  • @rissatish It was singapore moss on litle lava stones.Sand is highly recommend by me.I Use it all the time and if you wish to have some grassy plants like Vallisneria, small leafs Echinodorus,Eleocharis sp.,lilaeopsiss etc. sand will be perfect. It's not hard to keep it clean, just use snails like melanoides tuberculata and the problem is solved.

  • great video!

    you should make another

  • Cute, Cute, Cute! They look so happy...

  • What type of canister filter are you using?

  • What kind of sand did you use? I tried using some crushed coral as substrate, but it destroyed my corys' whisker-thingies (I don't remember what they're called)

  • i have a couple of pandas and theyre cool, but when they are grouped like this they are really cool

  • @megasuchy what kind of sand is that?

  • Wow they're fast little buggers! If I may I heard Cories are like betta's able to breathe air...Is that true? Also how hard would you say cories are to care for?

  • @EeveelutionStorm yes they are labrinth breathing fish and so are gourami fish and i have lots of cory catfish to and they are very easy to carew for all u need to remember is to have sand substrate coz gravel can hert them

  • @AwesomeAssassin1000 Awesome! Thanks I'll keep that in mind. ^_^ I keep betta's with no filters so it's great to know Cories don't need them either. ^^

  • @EeveelutionStorm great but id recormend u do use a filter for these guys coz they can produce a lot of mess meaning poo and that will make lots of ammonia in ur tank

  • hey, is that java moss planted in the sand? If so, do you know if it attaches and spreads over time? Thanks

  • @KiitCat Looks like Java moss. I'd like to know too, does it make a carpet! Do the corys dig up javamoss?

  • @PetaPanPipes I've just planted some in the sand in my aquarium, hopefully it will attach!

  • you have alot of them i only have 2

  • Panda is vulnerable to water pollution

    水質がな~

  • PANDA IS OUT QUALTY WATER

    パンダは水質悪化に弱い

  • hay how many cory catfish could i have in a 15 gallon planted tank with 1 bolivian ram and 5 neon tetra

  • @AwesomeAssassin1000 google 'aqadvisor' and it will help you with any queries on number of fish you can put in your tank. It even tells you special requirements of the fish you want. Like if a fish needs driftwood or to be kept in groups, or even if a particular fish might me aggressive towards another fish you have selected.

Will also tell you what temperature, ph, water hardness parameters will work best for your fish, as well as water changing info for the fish you select. Good luck!

  • cool check out mine comment, rate and sub and ill do the same

  • what kind of filter do you use?

  • @vweeks181 External canister filter.

  • @megasuchy cool, and i have 2 questions... 1- have you ever spawned your cories before? and 2- can you make some more videos?

  • @vweeks181 1- They had breed all the time without my interference

    2 - I can't because I've already sold this tank.

  • @megasuchy aah that's too bad :(

  • @ megasuchy, What tank sixe is this and how many do you have? Also do you think they'd be happy with a sponge filter?

  • love the fish my fav!.. =]

  • i hope they get better food from time to time...

  • @hYYYpo Do you think I feed them only with this kind of food??? I have many, many different types of tablets, flakes, crispers, frozen food and live food.If they haven't been fed so well they wouldn't be breed and yes they breed all the time :)

  • @megasuchy i just said that cause there are too many people who only feed their fish with dry food :p

  • @hYYYpo I'm not aggrieved :) Best wishes!!!!!

  • @megasuchy ;) if you like, you can have a look at my tanks as well on my channel.

  • Dales OCEAN NUTRITION mejor.

  • man a big school of cories like that looks awesome

  • what kind of substraight is that? Sand?

  • @TheMetroPhotographer Quartz sand.

  • @megasuchy does it affect the tanks PH?

  • @TheMetroPhotographer If a sand is dirty there is possibility to affect tank parameters, but sand in my aquarium is totally neutral.Important thing is to buy it from trusted sources.

  • Damn I came to see panda bears eating catfish

  • I like the one random Kuhli Loach at the end. haha

  • Greetings from SINGAPORE! Where did you get that moss from though

  • I fell in love with the panda.

  • Love the look of the tank and the corys of course

  • wow, please tell me what kind of wood, moss, plants (especially) you have in this tank. You have the best looking tank ive seen in a long time. Panda Corys happen to be my favorite.

  • @martyb0y1690 that's probably a juvenile kuhlii loach :)

  • @Roosterboii thanks mate googled that and I think it is aswell

  • @martyb0y1690 I've forgotten to add - it's a fish not worm :)

  • @megasuchy yeah it's kl just didn't get a good look at it in the video lol

  • @megasuchy already been said

  • @martyb0y1690 that's kuhli loach is not a worm is a loach..a nice creatures..

  • @martyb0y1690 It's a Pangio kuhlii

  • hey, i was interested in putting a few corys in my tank

and i was wondering if i should buy a heater for my tank or do you think they will be ok in room temperature?

    thanks :)

  • @JinGsPage They prefer warm water, optimum 24-27 degrees celsius. So better take care of that in the fastest way and buy a heater :) Interesting detail - in the corys spawning season they like to breed in colder water, about 22 degrees celsius.

  • Also what are the easiestspecies to keep? Can you keep with others, like panda and spotted?

  • @sprayart94 They are totaly harmless and you can keep them with other corydoras sp. and also different kind of fishes. But remember to do not combine corydoras with big or predacious fishes.

  • They're really nice, is sand the best substrate?

  • @sprayart94 In My opinion, sand is the best for catfishes. It's very soft and never hurt corys delicate whiskers.

  • @megasuchy Thanks for both answers - two more qs

Will they be ok with endlers and will childrens play sand be ok for them?

    Thanks again!

  • @sprayart94 It will be ok.

  • @megasuchy What have you got in there? just awuarium sand?

  • Thats what I want to watch a family of corys play all day. My sister calls them freshwater dolphins. What size tank do you have and do they lay eggs all the time with so many in there?

  • @Tryusecp Thank you!!! 100x50x50 cm.They lay eggs all the time :)

  • @megasuchy I have two corys and I want sand! I have gravel right now and nothing in my tank as decorations go. How did you plant your tank so well! Is sand is it hard?

  • @Prekbeek345 This kind of sand isn't hard to maintain in cleanness(melanoides tuberculata or other digging snail species sap in it and keep it clean). At the moment I have a lot of problems with algae's.

  • great video, the sand is so white! beautiful fishies... i have panda corys too :)

  • what are those mossy looking plants in the substrate?

    thanks

  • @irbenson pruned singapore moss.

  • Do the corey's produce alot of waste that can be seen on the white sand?

  • @92cvang No,they don't :)

  • That is so cute. Beautiful aquarium. I love cory's. They are my favorite aquarium fish. I have 5 green cory's that i bought las week. I had 2 zebra danios and 8 neon tetras but they didn't survive. My cory's however are doing fine so far. I have a banana plant that is starting to put out leaves and roots. Question: How big will my banana plant get?

  • It's cool! I like your sand

  • I love cories, one of my favorite fish, up there with rams.

  • I love this video,it's kinda relaxing me.

By the way,i have Corydoras Pandas to :).

  • That's true,aqua-life is soo relaxing :D

  • whats your substrate?

  • Quartz sand.

  • sooo cute!!! x3

  • That's a very pretty tank and very well taken care of.

  • I find crushed up flakes work better than tablets, thatway everyody gets some

  • hehehhehehe there so cute xD

  • Nice

  • nice tank!! awesome panda corys!

  • Dziekuje :)

  • Nie ma za co!!

  • have you had any babies yet? great vid thanks

  • @calricky Of course I have :) a lot!!!

  • i might have to do that... will be over and around europe in the summer, ive been trying to find some quartz sand stateside but most of it looks like it would be really sharp, even the sand and be harmful to corys, did you get yours at a pet store or what?

  • Where did u get that kind of sand? ive been looking around pool stores and stuff around here but havent been able to find anything close to that

  • @fishrailroad come to Poland and you will buy as many kg/lb as you want :)

  • I WANT YOUR PERFECT SAND!

  • omg i want your sand

  • try feeding them shrimp pellets mine go crazy for them lol

  • I also feed them shrimp pellets, sticks and tablets :)

  • is that a tetra?? how come its so big?

  • @westwide It's just an illusion, it grows 4-5cm.I was filming from angle and that why it looks so big :)

  • fututas neamu si familia in acelas timp ;) sincer te-as fute si pe tine da mirosi :X:X:X

  • nice cory's

  • What size is your tank?

  • 100 cm Lx 50 cm Wx 50 cm H

  • did you buy so many panda cories.... or did they breed and become so many?

  • They've breeded and they are doing this all the time.Present I can't say how many corydoras panda i have got.

  • What a nice video to relieve stress! Hi, I bought some 4 baby panda (about 1.5 Cm long) but 2 died. I tried to feed them with daphnia or frozen bloodworm but they don't seem to enjoy it! What yours feeds on?

Are they by nature the kind of fish that grows slowly? Thank you.

  • Comment removed

  • Try Algae wafers, Pellets or just good ol' flake food.

Mine aren't really picky they eat anything that falls to the bottom.

  • they grow increeeeeeeeeeedibly slow

and for 10 or so years, I've fed my corys regular tropical flake food. I've never had one die, though I did sell a few generations when I was moving the tank around (and bringing it out of use for a couple years)

  • Hi thats a realy nice tank, do these fish grow bigger? As I have a 60 litre and am considdering three small catfish, if these grow big what catfish don't?

  • Corydoras panda - 5-6 cm :)

  • no they dont and they are brilliant i got an albino and a peppered i realy recomend them!

  • Very nice tank! Congratulations

  • Wouldn't the panda corys swallow bits of the sand when they eat?

  • They don't swallow it, Suliformes are highly specialized about spiting out all non-food parts.

  • can u use a gravel syphone with sand

  • I never use a gravel syphon, snails like Melanoides tuberculata drill sand and clean it up all time.

  • Hi what type of sand is it your using in there? Also do you have a CO2 system running and use some kind of fertilizer for those plants of not how do you maintain them?

  • Quartz sand,low-tech tank without fertilizers and Co2.Lighting- 2x30W and 1x39W.Tank 250 liters.

  • Cheers so low fish levels and good water quality

  • Where do you get quartz sand? I don't know if I am looking in the wrong places or I am just plain "idiot" but I don't know where to get it.

  • I've bought it on polish auction portal. There is a lot of quartz sand.

  • I was going to buy what i thought was a pair of pandas at the weekend... turned out to be 2 corydoras adolfi (which are rare ive heard) i went in and reserved them due to them been in the shops quarentine still and one died :( it did cost me £15 ($28) for the surviving one.

  • very nice tank how many gallons? looks like 20.

  • nice tank,is it hard to clean the tank with that kind of sand?what type of filter do you use?thanks

  • It isn't hard if you have snails, like Melanoides tuberculata. That species live 80% in ground and diging it all time.I'm using external canister filter, polish Aqua-el Unimax 250.You can use any kind of filtration, but remember, inlet canot be close with tiny sand.

  • what brand of food do you use for the corys?

  • Polish fish food producer like Tropical or Aqua-el.Especially tabs for catfishes.I'm using also food for crayfishes and shrimps.Every kind of fish food will make your cory a lot beautiful, you have to varied it.

  • Beautiful aquarium,nice fishs.

  • Thank you, there's a lot of rare fishes stuff and shrimps.
