  • hi, after i write the os into the thumbdrive they asked me to format it , do i really nida format it or did i do sth wrong along the way ??

  • @el1mat3r Don't format it. Windows asks you to do so as it doesn't understand Linux's disk partition format.

  • @amandahoic orh icic another qn, after i did the writing of os i went to check on the partition, it shows6 partition. 3 16mb parts, one 1gb (e) drive, one 728mb and one 1.98gb. it doesnt show up like urs, 4 neatly partitioned parts...

  • @el1mat3r As long as your Chromium OS SDHC card is bootable and useable, it's fine.

  • @el1mat3r Not sure what went wrong... perhaps you should delete all partitions of the USB thumbdrive and try again?

Some particular USB thumbdrives do not have boot-up feature too...

  • What's the minimum storage size that my USB/SDHC can be to boot off Google Chrome OS?
