Hey, the person who photographed you is a better photographer than you. Learn photography from him. BTW, who taught you composition? Go back to school and learn more. Buying a great camera doesn't make you a great photographer..... Good luck for the future...
Crap you never shoot at f/2 canon 100mm 2.8 is much better and on the 7D you get AI servo focusing as well....oh just seen this video is a advert ahhhhhhh
you want my honest opinion. i really dont like any picture he has made. I don't say i can do better. But i have seen a lot of non pro photographers shoot better frames then him.
Tamron is junk. If you want to macro, just rent a great canon/nikon lens for a day or the weekend. Chances are high that you won't touch a macro lens very often anyway.
@key00992233, Oh, right, I forgot. Not everyone had teachers that could teach well. I look forward to correcting people and embarrassing them in front of people. Also the upper case letter of "o" is not a number.
@175myles why are you being offensive? we probably miss communicated. if you are talking about the "2.0" which stands for the aperture of a lens, it is a number, and not a letter. People do say "Oh" which can be wrong depending what kind of english you are using. Oh... and you should learn how to be nice.
@175myles ahha... no it's not. I think you are the one who needs a fucking teacher. How old are you, kid? TWO POINT ZERO AND TWO POINT OH IS THE SAME FUCKING THING!! Jeesus....
Why are you stressing motion blur, handheld shots, and shutter speeds? It's super bright outside. I'm pretty sure you could shoot at 1/4000 using f2.0 and you could probably be at iso 100-400.
True, wind can be a real pain. But wondering why you didn't mention going with a faster shutter in relation to movement. I did hear you say a faster shutter. But I am not sure all of your visitors will be aware of this as an option as they learn outdoor macro photography. I in most cased speed up my shutter and alter my other settings to fit the needed light and contrast. Not to0 mention grab motion and stop it.. Thanks, Nice video!
I'd go with a 90mm with the rattlesnake to get a better shot haha nice info though, I'll be posting my photos soon and it would be great to have some pro feedback so I can improve. Though, I have learned a lot self taught in about a year.

@teragreg And you get retards looking up macro clips on youtube who claim to have no interest in it ...
there's some tits on here, Jesus.
Nice clip, too bad it's wasted on numpties.

Btw... you can't shoot at 2.0 at 1:1 ratio. No macro lenses are able to stay wide open at 1:1.

"shooting at 'eff two point oh' ". Its eff two point zero. the letter O is not a number.
175myles 7 months ago
@175myles seriously? Two point zero? Learn english mate.
bjohansen91 7 months ago
@bjohansen91, Argue with the English dictionary, the number 0 is pronounced "Zero" not "Oh". Also, try spell the letter "F".
