I have 9 classes, the first and very last are only 30 minutes (plus they have no grades). But we ave A days and B days. On an A day I have 4 90 minute classes. On a B day i have 3 90 minute classes, and 2 45 minute classes. "I think thats right", anyway so therefore being organized, prepared, etc. it is very important and helpful. Thank you!

@liyhbtjnfetlol - Yes there are 3-4 classes but there are 4 quarters (high school). And it's normal to have 4-6 classes a semester (2 a year) in college.

@GraceLurrve - I don't understand why note taking isn't permitted. You're there to learn and should use any tool to help you learn the information. Can you maybe use an audio recorder? Do they provide a power point or notes online for you to study from? Those are my suggestions.

@nikkithebrat Apparently it's distracting.. No, it'd just get confiscated.. They use a power point in the lesson, but not notes online or powerpoints to take home to study.. They use the powerpoint in class, but when I try to write things down, they tell me off for writing... Its causing difficulty as I don't have the information needed to complete the homework... The folder Idea is okay, but I wouldn't suggest it.

Sometimes teachers surprise you with what they may work on that day and If you only have a folder with some worksheets, you'll probably going to have to walk to your locker or car.

Running out to your locker or car makes you miss out on  potentially important notes. Also looks bad to your teacher if you need to keep running out every other class.

@Lacoux - I'm just giving my own tips, you don't have to take all of my advice. If you choose to bring all your materials or not, that's up to you. I just suggested it in case some people don't want to bring their large binder and can get away with just bringing a lighter folder. Being unprepared is unfortunate but if you follow the syllabus I'm sure you won't have to run to your car/locker.

@MissElbaroda - I really don't spend a lot. I always go for clearance items, look for sales such as 2 for 1 and wait for supplies such as highlighters and dividers to go on sale. I reuse my dividers, the ones in the vid I've used for 3 years. I usually update my single folders which only cost about $2-3. And I have lots of extra staples, erasers and post its that have lasted me years!
