All the stores where i live in ILL have what i call half and half store. Debs, Catos, maurices all have half and half stores. Half Plus size, Half skinny sizes.

Lane Bryant has some nice clothes. I am in the business world and they have nice business casual clothing for me. Torrid does not have a lot of business casual clothes, but they are nice and trendy, yet too damn pricey.

Hmm now I am a plus size Diva and I shop the Avenue (certain pieces) LaneBryant...Iove Seven Jeans BUT what I find in the stores such as dots and Deb is that they run small for ex. If our girl in the video is a size 16 and she has to get a 2x in the items she got what does that tell you...?? now made well and not a good fit! so for some like me who is a size 20 I still cant fit nothing in there, a 3x is going to be snug as hell on me... but that sweater dress you got on GIRL IS CUTE!

April, U R so right. I'm plus size as well, and almost 6ft (thank you, lord).I dress just as fly, as the smaller women. The key is, knowing what works, with your body type. I am veryyyyyyyyy hippy. My waist is muchhhhhh smaller. I buy tops that R Vneck, square neck, and wrap on the side. All my tops, end slighty below, my waist. This balances a tall, much 'booty' sister out and makes me look leaner. Do U all have the AVENUE, n your area. Great plus size clothes, as well.

There isn't a Dots in Cali :( but we have Rainbow which I am sure is similar. Skinny girls in the front plus size in the back just like dots. Rainbow has very nice clothing so if you ever take a trip out this way to Cali check that store out because I think you would like it.

However, I have to agree if you are on a budget there are cute clothes at Rainbow Plus, Dots Plus, Simply Fashion if you have one of thoes. Umm out here in Detroit, MI we have a shop called New York and CO. that i think goes up to a size 18 but you wouldn't know they even sold plus sized clothing by looking from the inside and also Burlington, TJ Maxx , Marshals have plus sized clothing.
