  • I still have this car, and it's awesome 17 years old, but still going strong!

    Best Saab ever made!

  • I still have this car!!! It's 17 years old, but it stil working and its an amazingly cool car!

Great accelerotion! Turbo engine it awesome for quik takeovers!!! The SAAB 9000 CDE Ruby red Griffin Edition

  • It was better when they had no tagline!! Just "SAAB"

  • For all those of you wondering about this voice and whose it is, I'd recognize it anywhere. It's Mark Lenard, the guy who played Spock's father Sarek in the early Star Trek movies. At 2:21 he's saying "And an antilock braking system..."

  • lol this guy is high on helium. what does an anatama mean? 2.21

  • Totaly impressed over this guys extreme variations in voice. Lol at 2.21 :-)))))))))))))

  • owning a griffin is a honour just a smooth, honest, ride of luxury,,,

  • it looks like the engine is getting pretty hot @ 3:06, unusual for a saab, mine always is quarter way

  • Is it Morgan Freeman as speaking????

  • named in honour of Peter Griffin. It's a car, let's get over it.

  • This one even had rear A/C - a very rare find in a 9000 (you can tell by the extra button on the ACC).

  • Let's hope that vintage sense would also return in the all-new 9-5.

  • i love early 90'th... especially in usa.

  • I drive a saab 9000, an old one. Danish tax forces Danes to drive old cars :(

  • I wish I had a 9000 but, instead I got a '94 900 =\

  • over 9000!!!!!

  • Haha, that made me laugh

  • i have a saab 9000 griffin =)

  • What year? I am looking at a 1992 Saab Griffin 9000CD. It has 170,000 miles and is 900$. It sounds like a deal too good to be true. Still I am very much considering it.

  • Saab 9000 <3

    safest cars.

  • True Saab... nice, now i have saabfever

  • Me always love CD than 5-door

  • Me always love CD than 5-door

  • Dang, I wish I was there?

  • The high price is only because of high taxes. If you took your car to Denmark and sold it to me I would have to pay the very high tax.

  • Well I have 172 thousand miles on mine and just got the turbo rebuilt and the motor rebuilt. I'm trying to sell mine for only 4000 thousand. Its a good deal for this car. Saabs just are not worth much in the u.s.

  • If I was living in the USA I would have bought your car!

In Denmark this car costs around 17000 Euro.

    (With all 3 zeros ;-) )

So is about 6 times more.

  • @gdgustav is this because of something called "luxury tax" and does this luxury tax exist in sweeden Norway and Finland as well?

At what rate is Luxury tax levied at?

  • @hunjsuk

No, it has nothing to do with luxury tax. It is mainly just tax.

In rest of Scandinavia they do not have so high taxes on cars.

  • I own #202 and I love it. I'm broke and now have to sell but I hope one day I can buy another.

  • Very nice!

How much does such a car cost now in USA?

  • Beaytiful car!!!

  • Thank you!

I have one myself just a newer with a larger engine.
