John Frusciante is the Christopher Nolan of movies. You just cannot have expectations for this guy's music. He's an artist. He paints his soul through his music. It'll be good. No worries, guys. And by the way....are some of you on crack? "The Empyrean" is one of his best albums. My brother cannot stand Frusciante's music, but he was intrigued with "The Empyrean."

I am arguably one of the biggest "Johnny Kick A Hole In The Sky" fans, but after 'The Empyrean', I'm nervous about an upcoming solo album. It just didn't have the magic that  EVERY prior solo effort had. I'm sure he put forth much more effort than any of his albums before, but it had a void. Truth Hurts has a beautiful voice, but at first glance she doesn't appear to give me a jolt of positivity and anticipation for a new album. I'll buy it and I'll jam it, but I may not love it... #nervous
