Rondo gets more rebound because he was assigned by the way, celtics are playing basketbal lthe c/pf position will box out, guards get the rebound, (euro style of playing)) to help get the rebounds, so does chris paul, kidd, deron williams, LbJ,etc. Kobe's skill and style is way different. It's stupid to say Roy is a man that can take Kobe on all possessions. 2, You get good/great centers for a reason. You won't draft a big man who can't defend, box out, and rebound. That's what makes guys like Gasol, Bynum, Love, etc. great, the ability to score and the ability to rebound the ball well.

@gravyonme You can't compare them overall-wise because LeBron is a 6'10 SF-PF, while Kobe is a 6'6 SG. That's why LeBron grabs 10rpg a game. Now LeBron most of the time scores driving the ball. Now if he still can able to do that while in his 30's while improving his shot, maybe he can beat Kobe as a PLAYER, but as people say, athleticism fades, skills doesn't. And let's base the numbers comparison career-wise, LeBron is 24-25 and ave. 25ppg. Please look at Kobe's ave when he was 24 (30ppg,7rpg)

@gravyonme Why compare reg. season games to playoff games? I can't deny the fact that the lakers are a great team BUT you can't deny that Kobe is a GREAT player. LeBron gets rebounds more than Kobe simply cause he plays a bigger position. LeBron shoots a higher percentage from the field, but he's not a better pure shooter than Kobe. Kobe shoots in context more difficult shots than LeBron. Whether its from distance or facing double teams.
