@nobrains01 Thanks for your comments but the guy only ever used his bike to commute before this and this was his first ever tour. He is now a very fast, smooth, consistent rider and proved himself on the stelvio pass. unfortunately my video camera packed up this year and got no video. So you'll need much more than a CG to keep up with him now.
thanks for your comment. to be fair to him, he had only recently passed his test and didnt have much experience. i used this and other videos to help improve. we all gotta start somewhere.
Yeah I am ok now, I am looking for a thundercat as i hear they are good for tall ridres ( I am 6ft 6")I think i will make enquiries about that me and my brother past our test at the same time so we are in the same boat. Cheers for the advise mate
you're right but the thundercat rider was on his 1st ever bike tour and had only ever used his bike for commuting before this. we used the video to show him what he's doing and how to improve. he was very nervous leaning the bike but is now taking it to the edge of the tyres. cheers for your comments though. always appreciated. i'll post some video of my GS chasing a zx12 soon. the pace was different from this.
I am in the same boat myself, i only past my test in the summer last year and only really had a couple of months exsperience before a van knocked me off when i was a set of traffic lights. Looking forward to this summer once i get a new bike i will try to build my confidence alot more especially cornering.
Welcome to the world of biking. I'm sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you're fit now. what kind of bike are you looking for? it so happens i'm selling the yellow triumph Daytona in the video. why dont you try a day at the Ron Haslam race school? it's a little expensive at £250 but it will do wonders for your bike handling skills. that price includes everything. you use their bikes, helmets, gloves, leathers etc.
He's getting better every mile! ;-)

No offence to you but the thundercat rider is crap, lol. Stiff as a board and leaning up on bends :) Could have beat him on a Honda CG125, lol.
