  • yeah, but the old one was a classic, its hard to beat a classic

  • no suprise there, super heroes isn't nearly as hard as the original, just has better design, I like gunstar heroes better, it kills you and still makes you love it just because it isn't just another game that you beat in a mere few hours, you'll have to try and try again before getting past the bosses (though you may still beat it in a few hours, I know this is on the GBA though which makes it a heck of a lot easier to get than gunstar heroes.)

  • I play both versions quite a bit, as I have the GBA version and I play the Genesis one on my Wii. They're both pretty enjoyable, the major question separating the two is if you want to own the game, or let the game own you.

I initially posted this video to show some of the people I know online a part of the game I was playing so often, since around the time the original one came out on the Wii's Virtual Console, I would frequently talk about both versions on the chat rooms I go to.

  • yeah, thats cool, i plan to get gunstar heroes on the VC on halloween (I can't eat the candy cos im diabetic so i get something else instead) but nice video! I'm gonna get this, starfox 64, super mario world, if it comes out sonic and knuckles, and contra 3 by thanksgiving hopefully.

  • I wish I could play the first one, but I don't want to bother buying a Wii. So I got the GBA Gunstar Heroes. Since you've played both versions quite a bit, can you explain how is the original harder. Cause I hear a lot of commentors say that.
