He seems like he's not that explosive off the bounce. But has some nice spin moves in the midrange kinda like Paul Pierce. Hopefully he keeps refining those to get space, or create contact. Gonna need to be creative to score if he can't blow past someone.

Demar sorta reminds me of Adam Morrison in the way he scores the basketball. He cant really create an open shot for himself he just stumbles his way into the paint...always a hand in his face..and somehow flicks the ball in the hoop. Im not impressed by this kid at all....

i'd be happy if this guy uses his athletiscm to finish breaks, rebound, and play hard defense. The raptors have enough options - what they need is a defensive swing player...trevor ariza wouldve been perfect..if this guy turns into an ariza, id be ecstatic...offensively, if he can hit those midrange shots consistently - thats fine..atleast thats always usable

what i was saying is that I'd much rather have Ariza's defense and toughness over Derozan's offensive potential. THe lakers would not have won the championship without Ariza - and its pretty clear that an Ariza type player would have been perfect for the raps. The raps do not need another soft, poor defensive offensive option - we have atleast 3 right now in the starting lineup...

You have to remember that he's playing with a bunch of other players who will most likely not have any playing time this season anyways. Triano and his team have been telling him to work on being more aggressive during summer league, since that would be the main expectation of him during the regular season. But when he has 4 starters on the floor with him, he won't be the first option, and will know that.
