  • * ANA MOURA

  • It´s not Anna Mourah but Ana Moura my friends.

  • What a find! Thanks for posting.

  • ANA MOURA!

  • @PedroNovaes82 far from jealous lifes too short. Saw this vid a long time ago and just voiced my opinion.

  • E Viva Portugal...

  • It's Ana Moura!

  • Honestly ?? Rolling Stones are the ones who should be proud of singing with Ana Moura! And I like them! But she is a diva! She makes me so proud of being portuguese :D

  • A beautiful out of tune "singing" woman.

I think Mick like to fuck her rather then hear her voice.

  • @mountainharry maybe you should hear some of her other songs; she really does sing really well.

  • Ana Moura is with out any doubt one of the best portuguese fado singers, but you have spelled it worng...

Love this version of this song... keep the good work

  • it's not PG it's PT >:

  • siempre van a ser grandes

  • Continuam grandes os Rolling Stones sempre a rolar.Parabéns Ana Moura

  • Eeeesh....Keith, shave that growth...LOL.

  • Anna Mourah??? WTF? Her name is Ana Moura! portuguese, please!

  • Cumprimetos

  • She's very talented and has a great voice. But, in terms of fado, if I can make a comparison: Ana Moura sings Fado like Anne Murray style - cool, cold and distant, with not a lot of range or emotion. Other fado singers like Mariza and Amalia sing fado like Aretha Franklin - emotional and passionate. It all depends on your taste, but a lot of Portuguese prefer the emotional style. It doesn't hurt that she's very beautiful and that both Mick Jagger and Prince are "horndogs."

  • @fjcnunes

Yeah but FLAT as a board @3:20

  • Quality over quantity any day. Unless you are some kinda cleavage communist that subscribes to the ideal of 'quantity has a quality all its own.' :P

  • @funstuff2006 Nah, you're correct. She might have been extremely nervous to begin with and she was great.

I hit flats more than anyone anyway....LOL.

  • I listen to Amalia Rodrigues and I was lucky enough to see Ana in concert, and I have to disagree.

  • Maybe she's different in concert... I don't know, I've never seen her in that context... But, judging from her videos and recordings, she seems like she sings fado in a very subdued fashion.

  • @fjcnunes Completely false. You cant have fado without emotion. Mariza and Amalia are much more than Fado interprets. They go beyond the limits of the style and enter the world of theater and representation. Amalia was not even a real Fado singer once that half of more of her repertoire was not even Fado. Ana Moura his, for me and other, a much more "real" and honest Fado singer. She sings it how it is. No unnecessary theatrics. To say that she sings with no emotion is almost heretic.

  • @GabKoost I'm not a musician, so I don't want to speak out of line... but to say that Amalia, arguably the greatest fado singer of all time, an icon of Portuguese culture and someone who defined the genre, was not "even a real fado singer" is - to me - incredulous. The fact that she sang other forms of music doesn't matter one bit. David Bowie wasn't any less of a rock idol, even though he didn't always sing rock n roll. What I was saying about Ana Moura is that she has no "garra."

  • @fjcnunesThis is a opinion shared by many. Amalia was not only Fado but Flamenco and"Marchas", she sang in French, Italian, Spanish, English, made movies, theater etc. She is not the archetype of a Fadista but of an hybrid product that also could sing Fado exceptionally well because she was super talented. Was she the definition of a Fadista? NO. Many prefer Herminia Silva to Amalia because this one had the pure image and style of a Fadista. It a question of Srtyle more than talent.

  • @GabKoost We can make another comparison. Let's take Camané. Does he really have the style of a Fadista? In is expensive suit shiny shoes? Of corse not. He his a copy of an American image like Fred Astaire. The real male Fadista is personified in Alfredo Marceneiro. You dont need a perfect powerful voice to be the best Fadista ever. You need the right attitude. Amalia eas so much more than a Fadista that to define her by this genre is to cut off the most part of her life.

  • @GabKoost Like Amalia, Herminia Silva was also a hybrid performer. She sang in revistas, starred in movies, etc. She was one of the first artists to introduce orchestral musicians to fado music, etc... So, the difference between her and Amalia is the degree to which Amalia took her creativity. There are people who are purists who say that Herminia and Alfredo Merceneiro are the only "true" fadistas, because they have "casta." So be it... It's obvious that musical taste is a very personal thing.

  • awsome yeah! ^^

  • so the stones like her and her voice, but they couldn't say her name right? is ANA MOURA not anna mourah.... pfff

  • @guitargodess60 LOL guitargodess60 i guess u'll be a 50year old jealous woman who actually doesnt understand nothing at all about music....and i'm pretty shure about that fact cause someone who makes a comparison about ana moura and britney spears, enough said....

  • Hi Charlie I am a big fan of u. Because your drumming is amazing and the sound of gretsch drums are absolutely great. Also I enjoy listening to jazz drummers because in my mind i think there the best drummers in the world like u. thanks for listening Charlie ?

  • Ronnie looks like Steve Vai´s big brother:P

A ANA é extremamente versátil... Não é uma cantora...É uma intérprete!!!!!!!

Ouví-la,a cada vez,não soa ao mesmo...

    SURPREENDE...!!!!!!!

  • Ana Moura rulez! Obrigado!

    ANA MOURA!!!!!!!

  • IT'S ANA MOURA!

  • é a "anna mourah" e o Allgarve

    LOOOL

  • Oh dear... correct that name please :/ it's Ana Moura.

  • Oh my god, that videoslip impressed me so much, I could not sleep. She is singing her story! Her only chance and time to sing with Mick!

What a pretty and emotional girl! Listen to her, when she sings in her language! That`s it, what touches your heart! She has a voice!

  • its ana moura x)

  • Its Anna Moura

  • CASH ROCKS!!!!!!!!

  • I think Mick just wants to shag the bird....

  • @Antoniodena

    Mick being Mick :)

  • Love that poster of Johnny Cash flipping the bird.

  • I love Portuguese female voice. Wheather it is from South America or Portugal. It is so sexy and soothing. It just sounds more elegant than any other form of Spanish when being sung. Of course it doesn`t hut that this woaman is drop dead gorgeos. It`s only RnR! I LIKE IT!

  • OUCH. Did you just say that portuguese is a form of spanish???? It isn't, see. Portuguese is its own language, despite its similarities to spanish. They are NOT, I repeat, NOT the same language. Portugal and Spain are two different and separate countries. God, why is it some people don't get that??

Thanks for the video by the way. Saw Ana Moura live this weekend and she's really good!

  • @oldphoque You're an ignorant, the Portuguese language is not a dialect of Castilian (what you say is Spanish). The Portuguese language, such as Castilian, is one of several languages of the Iberian peninsula, and for your information, is spoken by over 200 million people.

  • @oldphoque mmmm..... Portuguese is not a form of Spanish.....

  • anna mourah? moron.. ia ANA MOURA

  • Oh really?!

  • Oh really?!

  • oh shut up.. you're really a jackass! fado is nothing like tina turner's R&B.. you can only compare fado singers with fado singers! is just like that, tina turner's soul and voice are completly the opposite of ana's

  • @elvetio which one do you prefer?

  • Of course she could have .

However, Tina does not sing FADO!!

  • fuck shes good looking as hell and can belt out a tune

  • Shes hot and all but wheres the girl that can sing?

  • She's not at all special! I even dare to say she would be kicked out on all the idols show all over the world.

  • Maybe so, but, I wouldn't kick her out of bed!

  • Hahah same here!

  • @rdoetjes I'm guessing you're not Portuguese.... yeah; well some people don't take it lightly when someone insults a national icon if that someone is not from the same nationality.... and if all you have is this video to judge, then I kindly suggest you try listening to more of her music.

  • @FadoDeo4444 First of all an opinion is not reserved for people of a certain nationality Fado. I am sure she can sing very good Portugese folk songs but she sure as hell ain't a rock singer! The fact that you Southerners are so easily insulted is your problem. If you call our national artists a pile of shit I couldn't care less (I may even agree with you).

  • Mick had to let her on stage otherwise he wasn't gonna get anything. Keith is a good sport so he agreed.

  • Nice version, but one can't help but to miss Brian Jone's slide work on this number.

    .....honestly.

    but she's a good girl!

  • FADO is a kind of music very popular in portugal. and only in portugal you find ppl u know to play very well "fado" i love u guys!! Rolling stones "the legend"

  • yeahh força ana moura!! portugal ta contigo :D

  • Her name is Ana Moura. IN portuguese language theres not hing like 2 "nn" and "h" at the end of words. Anna Mourah looks like german or someting.
