No, you tack back upwind. Landyachts head into the wind better than yachts do.

@Daventrev kites aren't as fast as sails but you can get much better air than on a windsurfing board. I have yet to see anybody get air while land sailing. Would probably be suicidal but it's pretty safe on water.
Superjezz - NO speed up in the video, all in real time - but a LOT of wind that day...
