I like HN before and after :) if I wanna listen to rock I listen to their older albums if I want something more like this, I listen to their newer songs. No need to freak out, just don't listen to it. Also, you can't expect people to stay the same throughout their entire life. It's just not ethical. God bless :)

So what if it sounds a bit happy. People should rise above their sadness and make the best of a horrible situation. I think the song is more about him remembering the times when they were both innocent and wishing it could be that way again. This song is very powerful either way its done. Hats off to Hawk Nelson.

It ridiculous when people say things along the lines " I like the OLD band", or "I miss the way they used to sound", and "They don't sounds like themselves". you can't expect people not to grow up, and why would anybody want a band/ artist to sound exactly the same throughout their entire career?
Everyone quit bashing on this song! It's an amazing song! I love it, the claps make it sound good. It doesn't make it sound "upbeat" or happy, it makes it lest depressing!

Personally, I think it sounds pretty good.
The clapping doesn't make it sound upbeat, it's just another way to express emotion I think.

The clap makes this song sound almost upbeat. This song is about suicide, it's not an upbeat song.
