My family are from Burma, they had to flee to India, walking through the jungles for 6 months because of war. This was when my nan was a girl, and she is now 76. From this it looks as though the violence in Burma will never end. When my nan moved back to Burma, the British Embassy let her escape this violence and come to England.
People in this country think they have problems, but here there aren't hundreds of thousands of people having to flee or die. We are lucky and safe in this country, that is something people should remember and cherish.
Burmese military regime made life difficult for ordinary people and I know their day of facing consequences will come soon in return for their brutality and corrupt minded act toward fellow citizens.

The plight of the burmese people is horrific.
Thank you Christian Aid for not forgetting these people and their need for safety and security.
May we continue to pray for the people of Burma
