The blue looks pretty swish. I've just purchased one in red. The graphics card is simply the best thing on the laptop, making it incredibly good value for money. I'm running COD6 MW2 with high settings @ 720P HD and it's not even breaking a sweat - got torrents downloading in the background.

@cubanjocker I decided to to buy the white version. I didn't like how the keyboard portion was black instead of indigo...maybe it was like that otherwise it would look silly? But all white looks pretty cool anyways. I'm loving it so far and have been making sure I use hand sanitizer before using the laptop. Hit two birds with one stone making this choice! Super cool laptop & being clean more often.

This thing is at least HALF the price of the Alienware M15X but with 90% of the power. UK M15's ship with GT240Ms, which is arguably better than the 230... but you're saving a substantial amount with the Vaio. The 14" screen is good enough for gaming and it's nowhere near as heavy as the M15x... making it a good degree more portable

realistic.. mine on like power saving (balanced) settings (but still same brightness) lasts for like 2-3 hours. 3 if just not doing any games. On full power settings (processor wont underclock) and like full brightness.. and playing games.. it lasts for about 1 hour 30mins to like 2 hours. (maybe a bit more) Games like counter strike source & sims 3 for the fiance.

I would say yes. Remember its res is 1366x768, which wont tax the GPU that much to be honest, so it should run most games on high!

But 4x AA at around 30-40 fps is still a good showing. Downside of the laptop is its shit resolution. Most laptops for the same price have intel 45 platform graphics. Or 9400 series or lower. The price would be alot more sensible if it had a 500gb hdd. And thats that.
