  • Ur sooooo awesome and out going and funny!!! Love watchin ur vids!! :D

  • I hate shake spear, but I really want to check Being out!

  • Have you been to Japan??

    If not, you should come~~.

  • Agreed Hamlet is the bomb! : D

And Hamlet played by David Tennant was great, but my ultimate favorite Hamlet rendition is by Kenneth Branagh! And if you haven't watched it, I definitely recommend it!

  • OMG! It's so cool that I see Yamashita Tomohisa at the background. I LOVE HIM! And Ikuta Toma too. They are my faves. So freakin' hot, I can't even comprehend it. Who are your faves??

  • @jazzer53 x'D Well, I guess all of NEWS. That band is very close to my heart ^-^

  • @MaxieMagyx ME too!! I rather like them as actors too. Have you seen their movies and dramas? Yamapi and Toma are fantastic actors! =D

  • @jazzer53 Oh yes, I agree =)

  • Kevin brooks is AMAZING!!!

  • OMG I LOVE HAMLET!

im my middle school play i played Rosencrants but i wanted Ophelia

  • The fact that I find out you have NEWS posters and such all over your wall after watching one of your reviews on one of my new favorite books (Nevermore) just makes me all the more happy I subscribed to you. :) <3

  • @MaxieMagyx I actually agree. There japanesbsounds worse than when Americans try to speak Japanese. I feel actual embarassment for them sometimes. But, when I hear their broken Japanese I tend to feel really nostalgic. I'm so out of the loop as far as Jpop goes.

  • @ramenred17 Oh, me too! I'm kind of out of the loop as far as everything goes. x'D I used to be a huge Johnny's entertainment fan, but I have NO idea what's going on there now. Haven't checked any kind of pop culture news, haven't watched any Heyx3 or music champ or... anything for years. I'm still listening to a lot of old stuff. Just don't have the energy to keep up with it anymore =P

  • @MaxieMagyx It's kind of like the fandoms have merged because a lot of Korean groups are debuting in Japan now.. DBSK definitely was good.

  • @ramenred17 Oh yeah, I know! I see them all over the Oricon charts. Personally, them singing in broken japanese kind of annoys me. But whatevs =P If the japanese folks like 'em, I'm not one to judge.

  • @MaxieMagyx Yeah, I started as a jpop fan and then slowly became a rabid kpop fan. What particular Korean groups do you like?

  • @ramenred17 You know I've noticed a lot of j-tards are k-tards now. =P I.... well, I don't know that many. But 2NE1 are ok. And.... whatwazzit... 4minute. That's pretty much it x'D DBSK were pretty awesome.

  • I loved you before I saw that wall, but my love has increased to a whole other level now. Do you just like Japanese music and culture or do you like music from other Asian countries as well?

  • @ramenred17 Well, I guess I like music from a lot of countries =P I'm more oriented towards Japan than other asian countries, though.. Korea's got some good bands.

    lol, thanks anyway :3

  • Åh, älskar din vägg!!!!! Yamapi!!! <3

  • have you seen the version of hamlet with julia styles or the movie 'o' which is a modern day version of "othello" with julia stiles? did you like them? are they good?

  • @quirkyOverload I'm gonna watch them soon. I didn't know they existed until you told me x'D

  • Interesting haul! "Much Ado About Nothing" is my absolute favorite Shakespeare comedy, so I hope you love it!! :)

  • You live in Sweden don't you? That's probably why "If I Stay" has a different cover, I wasn't a big fan of it..I hope you like it though.

  • awesome haul.....i lovee you :)

  • I went to Stratford-upon-Avon last week! The home of Shakespeare! It was awesome, I saw King Lear! :)

  • @WeasleyIsMyKing09 :OOO I'm super jealous right now. That will be on my list of things I have to do when I visit England. *writes it down*

  • City of fallen angels

  • @13Kira13 I pre-ordered that one last month!! Super excited =)

  • I loved If I Stay -- and it takes place in my home town! :O

Also, you have excellent timing, since if you do like the book, the sequel comes out tomorrow! :P

  • @11Juliet Tomorrow? Oh, I do have nice timing =P Let's hope I love it.

  • I think I have seen that movie with Keanu. You should watch it, if it's the one I'm thinking of it's hilarious.

  • @dontsleepread Oh, then I think I'll watch it soon :) It sounds so strange, though, doesn't it??? Keanu in a Shakespeare story! I can almost see him butchering the language now. =P Naw, just kidding. I'm sure he's marvelous. I do love him so.

  • hey! nothing wrong with libraries! If I bought every book I ever wanted to read, I'd be broke and a hoarder. Anyway, I don;t like the idea of never having to go to a library...you know?

  • @brattette x'D I totally get what you mean. I love going to the library and sitting down in the silence. But something I love even more is getting my own copies of books and smelling the freshness on the papers. It's a sickness.

  • Great video! I like the book haul videos reviewers do. I think I'm going to do one tomorrow, because I just bought a bunch of books for really cheap, that I'm excited to read.

  • @Deliman5 Oh yeah, you should totally do one :) It's fun, and people seem to like it.

  • Ballad by Maggie Stievfater... It's ok but Lament (the first one) was a bit better. Idk.

It's sortof like that one was cool colors while this is warm colors and I like the warm colors better?

  • @SPEWbooksandthings Oh, I've been wanting to read that series. I mean, I don't like books about faeries, but I do LOVE Maggie stiefvater =)

  • Impressive quote-age, i'm reading before midnight and first grave on the right.

  • @Sonythebooklover Well, thank you. Although I wouldn't exactly call it impressive (not exactly the best actor in the world) that monologue is the only one I know =P But thank you all the same. Hope you enjoy your books :3

  • Library books FTW! I'm saving up money for trips so I'm depending on the library and books that i've been holding onto for months.

  • @elizziebooks The library can be handy-dandy, sometimes. I only wish my library had more..... books x'D

  • Still working my way through Brandon Sanderson's massive The Way Of Kings. Awesome so far!! 1007 pages long!

  • @supreman53 OOOMG :O Good luck to you x'D

  • @MaxieMagyx lol thanks :)

  • loved the first 20 seconds of this. haha. kyle is awesome woohoo!!! I'm reading wingless right now! Oooo tackling Shakespeare. Brave.

  • @hollishillis Oh, I'mma read it too =) Very soon. Brave? x'D Maybe. I think it's the perfect type of fiction to read when you just want to be inspired. I don't really read them as ... books. If that makes any sense?

  • I love Hamlet too, my favorite movie is from 1996 with Kenneth Brannagh. I'll check this one from 2009 too.

Much Ado about nothing is very fun, hope you like it :)

  • Haha, I am so glad you said that teacher/student books are your guilty pleasure. Mine too. :p

  • Awesome haul Kaisa :) I haven't read too many teacher/student relationships before (only in manga... >__>), but I understand the appeal X)

  • @thereadables Haha. Yes. I guess the truth would be that forbidden romance is my guilty pleasure =P

  • "If I stay" is so good! Mine is a different cover though. If you like Shakespeare, do you feel like reading some fiction? Then I would recommend Jennifer Lee Carrell's books. I've only read the first one so far but they are SO good.

This month I'm crossing my fingers to finish the 6th book in Camilla Läckberg's series (I'm not in a reading mood at the moment..) and then I have to decide the next one. I always sit on the floor, looking at the ones I have to read. It can take me an hour. :D

  • @missburn Ooooh Shakespeare fiction? Nice =P I might have to check that out.

  • @MaxieMagyx Yes, you really do.

  • Great haul Kaisa!! I read Being by Kevin Brooks ages ago but I remember how super cool the plot was :) I really want to read If I Stay!! I've heard great things about it :)

  • @canonato Oh yes :) My wall of NEWS. I'm so used to it I don't even see it anymore.

  • I read "If I stay" last year or the year before, in Norwegian translation. I thought it was a nice read.

Shakespeare rocks! Hamlet is AMAZING. Have you seen the Kenneth Branagh film from 1996? Excellent screenplay of Hamlet!

  • @purplebookfairy No! I haven't seen that one. :O I'll have to check it out =) Never heard of bookcrossing either x'D Is it like book swapping?

  • @MaxieMagyx It's a bit like swapping, only different. :-) I should make a proper bookcrossing video one of these days, explaining all about it.

  • Are you familiar with bookcrossing? Awesome way to get books!

  • Who are the sexy Asian guys behind you? Love your outfit BTW. Don't feel bad. I don't have money either. I mooch of my bf, parents and love my library. I also collect books and take forever to get to them LOL. I want to read Wingless, Being and If I stay. You have so many great books to read and have amazing taste. I also love Shakespeare but have not read a lot of his work yet.

  • @JenReads Those sexy asians combined make up the very sexy asian band NEWS. ;D Oh, I don't feel bad, I just feel bored. One thing I've learned from all of this is that I can live off of no money for a very long time. :D.... if I live with my parents that is x'D Thank you =)

  • @MaxieMagyx Thanks for your reply. I will check out that band. :) I live with my parents still too. It is hard to find a job and even harder to find one that could support me enough to get my own place and pay off my college debt. I get bored too in the sense that I don't have all the new books everyone is talking about. I am getting caught up on some of the gems of the YA genre. :)

  • Great haul! I'm reading Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver and it's good so far. I'm also gonna be reading Water for Elaphants soon.

  • @StoryLoverX Before you see the movie, then? =) Sounds good.

  • great haul!!! :D I'm still reading "Clarity" by kim harrington & I love it so far.

  • @DevvourBookReviews Oh I've heard loads about that one!! Sounds amazing :)

  • I love that version of Hamlet :)...Though thinkk my favourite Shakespeare play might be Othello or even Romeo & Juliet...

David Tennant's going to do Much Ado About Nothing in London as well :D

  • @totallyuninspired1 Oh yeah! I heard about that :D ..... Oh I'd love to see it :( Maybe if I wish hard enough The Doctor will come on down and take me there for free.... Oh wait.. :O

  • Yay! You got my book! And If I Stay was not action-packed YAFic. It was beautifully written and very emotional. My college is doing Hamlet next month! Woot!

  • @TheLitkid Yey!! I did :D So psyched to check it out!!

Ohrly? Are you going to be in this play? 8D That would be awesome.

  • @MaxieMagyx I WISH I could play Ophelia. But nope. You're not allowed to try out for the plays if you're not a theater major. Unless it's a musical. They let anyone try out for the musicals. :)

  • I love your shirt! lol :) the books you got sound good/ interesting. I read If I Stay, I thought it was decent but nothing amazing. i hope you like it though

  • Great choices. I know about being poor. Books can be expensive. ;(

  • @JASaare Yes they can =( But when they're good, they're worth every penny. =)

  • Being sounds like a really interesting book. Look forward to hearing more about it when you finish it

Glad the book and bookmarks got to you quickly and safely. Hope they all bring you much literary joy

I am currently reading a huge bio on Peter the Great which I am sure will take me a good part of April to read. Currently it is focusing on his war with Sweden, sadly for you Sweden is not fairing so well

  • @yhctower Oh, well, sorry but here's a spoiler: we turn out quite alright =P

  • You should make a TBR video :D

  • @WennaMuZz Yeah. Maybe x'D

  • David Tenant is amazing and it is so worth watching, I've been scint and it does kill. I hope to get my hand on the city of fallen angels and you against me this month, though I'm doing a book hauls soon.

  • @irma2000 Oh yes, City of fallen angels, even poor people like me can't resist that one. I pre-ordered it a while ago =)

  • I don't wanna freak you out or anything... but there's a bunch of asian dudes(?) on your wall.

  • @Grimmy616 HAHA! You're right! If you hadn't said something I wouldn't have noticed them! Freaky =P
