hello, sorry for my english. I have the same dd400 delay but my led is always flashing if the delay is active o not, "always" changed it but the same, do you know why?
@mynewcomment Are you using your pedal with a battery or AC adapter? These pedals are famous for their battery consumption so I would suggest getting an AC adapter. If you are indeed using an AC adapter check the polarity. Cheers!
@TheOzzk i thought the knew ones had that thing where you can't turn it on if you don't plug the input jack, my behringer to100 has that, doesn't this pedal have it?
Cool Sound!, Very U2. From seeing your & other videos, I ordered the pedal. I have adjustable Delay in my Fender Deluxe VM. But,I wanted adustable delay with tap tempo for my practice amps:Vox AC4 & Champ XD w/Delay (3 set tempos). I don't use delay enough buy buy an expensive delay, so I'll give it a try. thanks for the video.
@jern182 Hey Jern, sorry for the late response to your question. At the time I was using a universal AC adapter I got at walmart for $10. I powers up to 1.2A or 1200 mA. Right now this pedal is powered by my pedalboard... along with other 5 pedals and works like a charm!
@blackpleg28 You should be able to get one at your local music store or used on craigslist or something like that. It's only $30 new... you can't go wrong... Cheers!
@blackpleg28 :| You are right man! they are brand snobs there... There's a boycott against this little pedals because they are plastic... Guess what, the bumpers of most cars are plastic! lol
should i get Behringer DD4600 Digital Delay Pedal or Behringer DD400 Digital Delay Pedal ?? its like around the same price, but which do u guys recomand?
@randomclip12 It is my understanding that the DD400 is the Boss DD3 and the DD600 id the DD6 or DD7. I think the DD600 has longer delays and more options. Cheers.
man, this really helped me decide... i ll go with this dd400 thank u very much!!
one thing only, does this has a built-in tap tempo? 'cause i saw once a vid were this guy said it actually has tap tempo and either the box or the manual said this... so just to get out of doubts and make want this pedal even more, please answer this :) thanks again!
@reaper3264 Hey man, glad the video helped! And yes, it has a built-in tap tempo. Just move the ms (far right) to the "tap" setting and that's it. Search online forums for guidance, but it's pretty easy to use. Cheers!
@TheOzzk already got it, and loving it! fits perfectly my musical needs is there any chance u have a video of one of behringer chorus pedals?? i really need one of those too , Cheers!
@syntheticskull I don't know man. Most people are brand snobs. This pedal sounds as good as the DD3. You can buy 4 behringers for the price of 1 DD3... Cheers
When I went to buy this pedal there wasn't stock, so I bought a Danelectro PB & J delay, I will upload a video about it and I'll invite you to see it, would you like?
Fyi: I have one of these bad boys and felt I was settling because it didnt have tap tempo. Think again my friends!. Hold the footswitch down for a few seconds and the light will flash - you'll have a few seconds to get a couple taps in to set the tempo. Legit!
well all i need is a simple delay pedal for a small pedal gigging pedal board that i'm putting together and for the the price this is PERFECT.does it color you're sound at all?
@bossgtdiez10 In a way all delay pedals compress your signal a little when engaged. However, this pedal is way more transparent than the Boss DD3 I used to have. The Boss used to get a little too "gainy " and the bottom end tended to thin out. This Behringer has such a round full sound to it... that's what got me. When I play this thing live I always get asked if it's a boutique delay or anything... I used to show them my $30 weapon. Not anymore. Now I let them to wonder! Cheers.
@bossgtdiez10 So far so good, and dude for $15, can't beat it! IMO this little pedal is a modern classic. Like someone said in one of the comments. It's got it's own personality. If it were some other brand, people would be freaking out about how "unique" it is... I'm keeping mine.
No, it's not a problem and it has not broke down on me or anything. But you are right, when you move the time knob close to completely left it makes a very funky sound, which is very cool. I'll put another video with that "effect"
I have an AC adapter 500ma-9V its ok???

@TheOzzk ac adapter. now i have a vintage delay, it's very good. If I reverse the polarity it doesn't work.

ok everybody...i had used 2 pedal of this model..
its sound for me very cool..sometime for me cooler than boss delay...
but this model need to use very enough battery power or
suitable 9v adapter...not all 9v adapter in market match with this pedal...
so when idnt match u will hit the pedal like shit until broke...
