  • Super!!!!! je suis abonnée à vie pour vos vidéos

  • Does anyone know where to get the mp3 for this song?

  • love it

  • Wow! You just brought back such good memories for me. I grew up in Kaneohe and we did our 4th grade May Day performance to this song. Each class featured a different percussion intrument -- uli'uli, pu'ili, and ili'ili.

I love listening to your songs on youtube when I have some downtime. Any chance you'll cut an album someday? Even if you offered some MP3 downloads sometime I'd definitely buy them!

  • sing it brada! good one brown!

  • Thanks for the info on "Singer's Saving Grace"

    Love your music!

  • Well , thank you for sharing. You have a beautiful voice, and your uke is good too !

  • @kahikokeiki Mahalo! Sorry, no CDs, just Youtube.

  • Can you tell me where I canfind that throat spray?

  • Go to Amazon and search "Singer's Saving Grace". I recommend the variety with alcohol in it. I think that's a significant part of its magic. ;-)

  • Great job Jesse, what are the cords for this? Mahalo!

  • @hybriddad Mahalo!

  • @JesseTinsley Mahalo Jesse

  • This is one of my favorite songs to sing but I have to find just the right key to do falsetto without vocal disaster LOL!

  • I usually sing the first few stanzas without falsetto to gain confidence in my voice before I try to make the break to falsetto. I have used a throat spray called "singer's saving grace" to clear the mucous from the vocal chords before singing falsetto.

  • Oh my... how could I have missed this. Loved the falsetto parts.

  • This is one of those songs that only uses falsetto for ornamentation, but it's fun to sing and it's about the town where my mother was born and raised.

  • LOVE IT!!!!!

  • mahalo!

  • Hana HO ,I love this rendition and your expression, have you danced to thi song before?

  • Mahalo, Makiki01! I have never danced, but I have sung while a friend danced at kanikipila.

  • Wow good job! =D

  • Beautiful rendition of my all-time favorite Hawaiian song. Mahalo!
