Comment to a comment - if you would have listened the driver DID HIS JOB!!! He got the Vehicle and crew to a location away from the kill zone. The Vehicle was no where near the IED attack location... just sayin... I agree with 3rdID8487 - quit judging something you obviously know nothing about!

louisville1111 --- You are correct. For the recorded before anyone says something, I have been there. Iraq or Afghanistan you choose. The driver never leaves the truck. 5's & 25's. Always look to see if there is a secondary. The primary is usually there to hit the truck the second is there to hit the soldiers. I know.

WOW! the army would jump out and walk around with out checking under the truck for a secondary ied or scanning the area for secondary ieds, and the driver NEVER gets out of the truck. there are so many things wroung with this video. who ever made the call for everyone to get out was fucking stpid he could have had his whole convoy killed in a sec

@louisville1111 unless you were there and know the entire story from beginning to end, don't jump to conclusions like that and make yourself look foolish. You (and we) don't know the entire situation there and what was not shot or seen that was not caught on video. You don't know how much time passed between shots. Your making a call based on video and not being there. That makes you look foolish and thats not good.

@3rdID8487 Well I hope you understand that there are a few rules to a convoy. Driver never leaves his truck until hes in a safe area. (BASE) Not everyone gets out and does 5 and 25s, only one will. Also "Right over there" is not a safe distance to an IED to call a rally point where everyone jumps out. Secondary IED's and small arm fire about 100-500m away are the norm. Having media in the truck asking 50 questions, also a no go. Train and Learn or Fight and Die.

It probably wasnt a pressure plate considering the other trucks drove over it right? command det....Hope you guys did your 5-25s to check for secondary ieds placed around the truck... we had a LT jump out his truck when the truck in front of him blew up and a secondary ied went off and killed him...should have checked around the truck first...what area was you guys in?
